I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Damien Landry Instablaster :)
@Jaxtyn Gregory Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Jaxtyn Gregory it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass !
@Damien Landry happy to help =)
i love your tactical analysis, tho i think that if u want to see if your tactic really works you should try it with some smaller club
Chelsea 2004-2005 Mourinho
15 Goals Conceded
That’ll be a challenge 😎
Would be great if you could do Nils Arne Eggen's Rosenborg tactic. He won the Norwegian top division 11 times in a row and qualified to CL 8 times in a row, reaching the quarter finals after knocking out AC Milan in 1996. Other highlights include beating Dortmund 0-3 away in German as well as beating Real Madrid 2-0 at home. His tactics was actually inspired by Rinus Michels (he met with him several times). He played a variant of the 4-3-3 discussed in this video but more hyper aggressive and direct. No other FM youtuber has ever done this as far as I know.
pls yes i second this
Great video, as ever. To piggyback off of Cruyff, Bielsa's 3-3-1-3 - though, since going to Leeds he's switched to a 4-1-4-1 base shape, but the principles remain the same - should be explored.
When the Bielsa video comes out, will certainly look to do both formations
Absolutely love this. Brilliant for controlling possession. I’m having decent results with dropping the passing back 1 and using inverted wingbacks on defend. Trying to use a shadow striker but not sure what to go with for the front man - false 9 or complete forward maybe...... thanks for all your hard work and I hope the new baby is settling in well.
Thank you for the comment and new baby is doing perfectly! Allows me to carry on recording which is great.
I'd love to see a flat 3-4-3 with 3 central strikers. There isn't many videos on UA-cam covering it.
I can certainly whip a flat 3-4-3 though it’s likely to be more direct football rather than possession based
@@RDFTactics Van Gaal style then hehe
I'm waiting for a Pep tactic when he was at Barca, especially the instruction for the playmakers and the f9
But Johan's tactic is superb!!! Love it
Yes! I may revisit Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, also at Bayern! Hope you enjoyed this video
Yes, and I hope your video 'bout this tactic can tell me instructions and training guide of how to have my midfielders pass like xavi and iniesta :))) that was the key to barca's victories right? Love ya and ur tactics
A very well-put-together presentation. Not sure though it will work with my little York city in league two. Maybe one day.
Thanks a lot Stephan! 😆 I am working on a tiki taka tactic for lower leagues. A manager named Ian Evatt plays really nice football in lower leagues and I’ve been asked to do his tactics
@@RDFTactics ian evatt loves hoofball, he plays with a TM and has people running off him, the team that play the best football in the lower leagues is Simon Rusk at Stockport
@@JackShaw17x I’m playing as York too mate! Went strikerless for the first 4 seasons with consecutive promotions which landed me in the championship. I’m changing to this tactic just to spice it up. With strikerless I’ve broken the points, goals, wins and defeats record every year and have hardly spent a penny. Loving it so far. Happy to help if you need it but I’m sure you’re flying! Dion McGhee is a god in the lower leagues.
Perfect tactics rdf
Thank you! 🙏🏾
Great Video, despite me not having FM this year ; Cruyff fan - hero.
Still waiting for that bielsa video mate ;)
I do have one, but at the moment it's way too leaky in defence haha I want to share but don't want to share someone that's bad at defending haha I just needed to fix up the defence and it's sorted!
@@RDFTactics haha yeah no rush man, been trying something like it myself and i find that a 4-1-4-1 with a HB that drops into defence to create a 3-3-1-3 works quite well
@@RDFTactics Tbf that’s just like real life, so I’d say you got it right 😂
@@GloTheActivist300 lmao not false
@@RDFTactics it is also leaky irl so you don’t have to worry too much about it
great video pal
Thanks a lot man! Will be waiting for your tactic video today 😆
@@RDFTactics ah won't be today. Think I'm gonna trial it scores loads of different teams across the world. See how it performs.
Congrats on the new arrival, I hope you both get some sleep. Excellent video, as always. Love the analysis too. Keep up the super work! Do you do the "holiday" test or do you complete a whole season yourself? Also, do you find on the 2nd season the AI gets wise to your tactic and you don't perform as good?
Do you think I can tweek it for a 3 CD's to make it better defensively ? Or you haven't found any difference between 3 CD's and 1 CD ?
Originally it was 3 CBS so for sure, just make sure the defensive width is set to standard or wide. But would try standard first
Have you tried this yet with the 3 CB’s? Because that’s what I probably would run instead of the Full Backs and wanted to know if it was any good before I start with it in my new season.
Please look into Kevin Keegans Newcastle Tactic
Entertainers?
@@RDFTactics yeah the entertainers tactic
In the first variant with a false 9, have you experimented with making the attacking midfielder a shadow striker with an attack duty? I've tried both in a very similar set up and I'm not quite sure if there was a difference (or what the difference actually was).
Interesting take on it
What do you look for when creating a tactic?? I wanna look back at an old team and recreate the tactics from it
It’s a difficult one to answer because my process is different each time. But for the older tactics, because less access to analysis data, I rely on research a lot and then it’s just trying to figure out how to implement that in game
Superb video bro...Hope your family is doing good. Try Mikel Arteta 4-2-3-1..
Thank you, family is doing great and motivating me to release more!!! Haha I have analysis on Arteta’s 4231 and will certainly look to cover it
Great video, hope your partner and baby are healthy.
Thank you for your comment! And they’re doing great 😎
Can I ask you how you test your tactics? Like how you play games (if you play them or holiday them), basing on what you choose the team you're testing with, if you repeat the same test etc etc
Btw I like all of your tactics, and this one is really funny to play with, especially for someone who loves Cruijff
Hey, I usually just do a single season test by playing the games. Though, if I start to get bored then i skip the cup games 😆 but I play it and choose the team myself because the Assistant Manager hardly picks a good team for your tactic
@@RDFTactics thanks for your kind answer and for details, I appreciate it. Wish you the best
PIs on the IWBs mate? Will give it a try later tonight. Between this 4-3-3 and Pep 4-3-3, which one do you prefer?
Oh and while we're at it. Can I swap the position at the right side with the left one?
Their were no instructions on the IWB and you mean swapping wingers or fullbacks?
@@RDFTactics I meant - playing IF on the left instead of on the right flank and so on, mate. Everything remains the same, but mirrored.
I love total football. Still Michels version.
Another tactic creator covered Rinus Michels last year and I hope he does again so I can make a video on it
I have a question can I still use this tactic in fm23? Will it still work considering fm23 has an advanced match engine
Is pep’s barcelona treble tactics the same as default tiki taka in the game?
yo rdf, im struggling with scoring goals with a false 9 on tiki taka tactics, is it because it only works with top players?
Well you need great wingers who are good at finishing if you are playing IW, which is more popular rn. If you are playing a false 9 with regular wingers you need midfielders who are a goal threat from longshots and generally players who get in the box and are a threat at the end of crosses. Try tweaking roles and instructions, maybe have one IW and one regular wingers, then have an attacking WB on the iw side to pack the attacking third more, then maybe add an iwb on support on the side of your winger to add another player to your midfield in attack. Will turn your 433 into a 235 or 244 in attack, will look alot like what manchester city are doing tho. If you are already having heaps of possesion and conceding anyways I'd say try this.
@@F-Tier_Physique I tried F9 with mezzalas And IW And wingers , seems like F9 comes deep to get The ball And always plays Back, Never tries to drible And although has great off ball attributes never gets in position to score
@@diogonogueira8150If you realize that a player struggles in the F9 role I would always try to give him some custom instructions like Roam from position and Move Into Channels (which makes him a bit more of a space user than just a space creator). If he is a good longshot taker you could even go for Shoot more often
@@GucciGuenther I already do it with shoot more often as well, im considering using SS
Have you tried focussing through the middle?
Are you gonna do burnley next week love the content
I’ve recorded the video, now it’s just finding a couple hours to edit but the babies sleep well during the evenings and that’s when I edit. I wanted to yesterday before they played Everton 😆 but total football had to come out
Assistent manager do the trainnig and oposite instrutions?
Can you do sarriball when sarri was at Napoli
So when are you using 4-3-3 ?
would you say this is currently the best tactic
Hmm probably not, we conceded a bit too much. But during this week I have two great FM21 tactic videos that are certainly one of the best, if not the best
Insofar as beautiful football goes, I agree!
Roberto mancini tactics must come
😎
@@RDFTactics he worked in galatasaray
You get it 😎
Hello. Please new Ronald Koeman tactics 3-5-2.
Hey man, doesn't the instruction to prevent short GK distribution make it so the keeper is forced to take more long shots? As you know, in possible counters? Do you really want to prevent the opposing team to play out of their defense (which will be super pressed by your own team) and risk losing so many aerial battles because you are way up the pitch with one central defender??? I'm just trying to understand, this seem flawed
I think the cb should be a libero
Can you do artetas 4231
Dider dechamps please
Will have a go
So basically with this mighty tactic you got knocked out from European competition and Copa del Rey both at the very early stage, couldn't beat Real Madrid, only defeated Atletico once in the league, didn't go unbeaten or even reach 100 points in the league with BARCELONA and your Messi didn't even reach 30 league goals. That is very, very poor. This vid shows that this particular tactic needs a lot more work to work how it is supposed to. Of course, it's never a plug&play type of thing in FM and when applying somebody else's tactic you always have to tweak it more or less to suit your team and needs but in this case the tactic you are advertising didn't even do all that well for you and has some pretty obvious weak spots. Don't get me wrong, overall I enjoy the channel and respect the amount of work you put in your videos but this one, as I said, is very poor. Nevertheless, keep up the good work, cheers
Okay but not every good tactic means you achieve those results. Also, the point in these vids are NOT to create the best FM 21 tactics, of course we want good ones, but i'm creating footballing content, not just tactics that will make you score 100 goals and get 100 points. It's not how everyone plays the game
@@RDFTactics In that case I might have misunderstood the point of the video as I though it was about showcasing a tactic that can bring results. If you put it that way and you only want to emulate real football tactics in the FM world it's perfectly fine. My only issue was that your results could be achieved by playing a simple 4-2-3-1 and using that unfinished attempt at recreating "the total football" is pretty much pointless here. The tactic is not very effective, sure the style of play is different but you can achieve that through various different ways. Well, I guess it's just me being picky. Anyways, have a good one
@@WeR2ManBand being picky? Try rude and ignorant. Have a reread of your comments and ask yourself why, having completely misunderstood what was going on in the first place - ie a ‘tactic recreation’ you then felt it necessary to come across as some sort of self righteous expert? Absolutely no need.
@@stansheppard8929 The only one who is being rude now is you. I was initially mistaken, had a little exchange of arguments with the author, who explained why I was wrong, I didn't argue any further, explained why I thought what I thought and wished him a nice day. There was no name-calling, no fighting, no nothing and you make a problem out of it. Nice one.
@@WeR2ManBand You’re adorable.....
