- Join me on a full tour in 4K of Calilo on the island of Ios (Greek Cyclades). Calilo is one of the most fabulous & unique resorts I've ever visited. The suite I stayed in - the 3 bedroom Sea of Smiles - is one of the most spectacular hotel rooms I've ever seen.

fyi, I found this through a recommendation yesterday.. and was told this place is not as expensive as it looks.. around $250 per night at the right time( i know that is still a lot, but for a suite that is incredible) seems totally worth it! and what else do you need to spend $ on?? sit at the beach or pool and walk around the beautiful area!!

Absolutely love the message at 9:15. Negativity, Lies, Limitations dragging the statue down while Love, Positivity, Hope, Yes, Optimism keeps it up! This right here is so inspirational in life. Do not let negativity and negative people tell you what you can or cannot do. You make your choice, your destiny, you create and manifest your path in life! I love Greece, the island, the entrances with its soothing trickling water, dappled light, colourful art, beautiful/thoughtful design & sustainability of the hotel but, the hearts & love everywhere ruins the romantic ambiance - it makes love feel forced instead of found!
However, I am charmed, the olive tress stole my heart.
I totally agree with you. Seems forced and fake. Sometimes less is more, and this seems way over the top, almost a sensory assault instead of a serene harmony.

All of these lovely videos in the Cyclades Islands takes me back to my time in the US Navy and visiting these lovely places. This was all back in the mid-late 90s, so some time ago, but great memories nonetheless!

I LOVE this! The ethic, the vibe, I can see being completely restored and revived in this place. Almost a different person by the time one leaves. Absolutely brilliant!
I’ve also always wondered how you get footage of so many of the dishes on a menu, so just going ahead now and asking 😄.
Love the location and concept of this hotel yet they really have to revisit the decor. A Resort has more restaurants and activities and gorgeous spas. A luxurious relaxed and classy vibe is what I'd convert this property into. Thanks for the tour, you did an outstanding job. ❤

Lovely area, fantastic video, great scenery. I am less impressed by the actual hotel though. Parts were amazing, but parts looked like an art college. I have nothing against art colleges, but I don't want to visit one for a holiday. Very much felt like being tricked into someone's personal art gallery.
And the name being everywhere? I did not appreciate that, felt like a Trump property. Also, that acronym, "create a live you can fall in love with"? Fantastic sentiment, terrible acronym.

Hello Traveler, the first word that came to mind was "Whimsical" when the video opened. Stunningly beautiful. Something we have never seen before on the channel, and you had Mr Henrik and Miss Olivia with you ! They must have loved Calilo. The chapel space was amazingly beautiful and sacred as well. Well, that's another great film - love the way the music stops and there is absolute silence overlooking the bay when you are emphasising tranquillity. Bravo. But, personally, it would be hard to feel tranquil in such a visually busy place.

After 5 months binge watching and waiting the Saturdays, I can tell you that you made my life better. You are an artist and we can see the dedication and beautiful work you do in each video. What a most exhillarating video of a wonderful resort. The quality is as good as you suggested earlier. I have now watched this twice, the second time second with my fiancé who was so taken with the video, she is eagerly awaiting part two and now is on her bucket list.

Mostly all islands in Greece have plenty of trees (and ...greenery) EXCEPT the Cyclades Group of islands who are mostly (all) barren!
Planting trees in a place that never had them to begin with is not right.
Also, that’s the beauty of the dry Cycladic landscape, why try to change it and go against nature?
I love the fact they have a chapel.
luxurious, YES but it has a taste that would either make you love it or loathe it.
sensual overload and too many sculptures ..some of them creepy......and where are the toilets in the bathrooms? :D (not to be taken too seriously)
When the Purpose is converted to Passion, such creation happens. I do not know whether I would ever be able to visit this place, it has aroused a deep sense of aspiration.

Another pleasant video to be watching this morning while having my breakfast here in Portugal,beautiful secluded resort and lovely architecture,was watching the Amanwella and Amangalla with my mum last night because she wanted to remind her self of the fantastic time we had there a few years ago,,, and would like to thank you for all the lovely videos you do of these beautiful hotels, and the Amanpulo in the Philippines is her favourite,,, peace and happiness as always till your next trip,,the marble in the bathrooms are wonderful,

Being temporarily on crutches, I view everything from a health and safety perspective. That suite you stayed in would be the stuff of nightmares. I would have fallen down those stone steps, slipped off that narrow twisty wooden path straight into the water, and I’d never have been able to negotiate that bathroom, with such harsh, unforgiving marble! I think I’ll have to wait until my hip replacement has bedded in before I make a reservation! Ha ha!
Classic or safety is not even important for the owners . They only supposed to “cares about the planet” nor really about its population

You have been to some fantastic places in your travels , I would rank this number one for my money . If the weather wasn't too hot at night I would probably sleep outside under the stars by the pool . Enjoyed the production as always 👍

Stunning video, dear LTE. It is an amazing place! While I appreciate the life philosophy and environmental mission, it does clash a bit with the throw back to the 60's. Initially it felt like a mix of Alice in wonderland, an LSD trip aftermath and the TV show, Laugh-In. However, it wasn't over much! 😃 I'm not sure the theme will date well. Much of it was awesome, though!! Loved the sound of the water, and how quiet and peaceful it was. I hope that they continue to plant tons of trees to bring back some wildlife. ( BTW, did I spot Olivia and Victer?? ). Keep up the awesome work, my friend!! All the best!

Totally stunning including the fantastic music I had a vespa my first wheels this place touched my emotions so much it has to go on my bucket list I love this destination thank you for uploading it is amazing 🥰 sometimes holidaying is about getting away from reality and into a Dreamland art world I am very artistic and eccentric so this suits me very much the heart shaped pool I also love 🥰💜👍👌
Vespas are still being made, the ones destined for the European and American markets are still made in Italy, which is rare in these days when scooters are usually made in the Far East, mostly China.
Absolutely gorgeous oh my goodness where do I start!? I really enjoyed your videos of Mykonos but this video is my favourite. Ios and Symi are my favourite Greek islands. My father is from Provence, France and my mother is Greek ( my Greek family is from Symi). Your video brought tears as it reminded me of the beautiful moments I had with my grandparents in Greece. Strolling along and taking numerous break enjoying the landscape while eating grapes (my grandmother always carried grapes in her bag!)🤭

Decor: I love the fact the artist has let his imagination run wild!!! I have to admit some pieces are not my style but I still admire the creativity and vibes it projects!
Love the donkey and the elephants as well as the hilarious acrobatic statues in the pool! They are so well made, humorous and I can almost see them flying for real!
The stone-like floors and mosaic floors are beautiful and so representative of Greece.💙🤍💙
When I read the beautiful olive trees were saved from ending-up as firewood it really touched my heart. Olive trees were an important part of my childhood. Thank you to Angelos Michalopoulos💙 and his wife Vassilika💙 for saving the trees and for preserving the landscape of this stunning island.
The swing🍇 overlooking the beautiful landscape and sea is dreamlike! Also, I love how the hotel architecture really blends well with the landscape.
Room: the outside views, seating areas, pool and swing are sublime! The room itself is beautiful with the marble and everything but I couldn't stop laughing thinking you better not be drunk if you decide to take a shower! I don't mean it in a rude way but it gave me slippery floors type of vibe (probably because I'm so clumsy LOL ).
I have put this mesmerizing resort on my bucket list, I love the dreamlike and artistic ambiance as well as the incredible beauty of the island!

barren hills without greenery without vegetation, as if you were on the moon, it is sinister; the arrangement is excellent; I prefer green places even if the hotel is not so luxurious
