Thanks for dropping by! I got this the other day and had a few minutes to do the unboxing before a t-storm rolled in. Been a busy summer so far getting ready to go on vacation, swimming lessons and vacation Bible school, cleaning the pool, the list goes on and on!! The video has a quick unbox, overview and then a running portion taking it out on the crawler course. It's hard to beat this price and later on when you have a few bucks, upgrading the shocks and adding some mods (wheel weights or lead in the front), this can really be capable and respectable. Certainly A LOT cheaper than the expensive Mini Z 1/24. There is link in the notes where to find this truck. Take care and see you soon on the next video!
Hey Donnie! Yeah man it's either the puke yellow wrapped packing tape or the grey bag of death when shipping over from Asia. Most times it's good but when you see the grey bag I get a weary feeling! Cheers my friend and hope you are doing good!
Hey Jim! Thanks and yeah this truck is pretty good. I got some 43mm injora shocks kicking around somewhere and I bet the BBs in the wheels would work great for this. I might do the injora brass wheel weights for the SCX24 on this, maybe just the front. We'll see. Have a good one my friend!
Salute! That thing looks AWESOME and the phone holder on transmitter is good for someone tryna record the action of course depending on where the cam on the phone is located.. This is another option to the clone Mini Z for people on a tight budget! Great video man👍🏿
Hey FFRC! Thanks for checking in. Good idea for using the cellphone holder for recording your driving. I was thinking some other model had telemetry or something you could connect your phone and get some app running. Nice feature to have I guess. I think you are right being a nice option vs the over priced Mini Z crawler and who wants to use AAA batteries like the Mini Z does? Thanks for watching. Have a good one!
This looks like a decent little crawler. The aluminum frame looks rugged. The body represents a jeep pretty well, although I’m not a fan of the angry birds front grill . Some scx24 shocks would really make a big improvement on the body roll and bouncing
I'm quite pleased with this and I agree, some upgraded shocks and maybe some wheel weights, throwing $30-40 more at it if money is tight later on and you go something that is very respectable. I think I have some 43mm shocks from injora kicking around in my storage tower and I can test them on this and see how it goes. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!
I hope you don't mind me saying..... the hardware for the SCX24 doesn't match the M2.5 hardware needed..... you would be better off with TRX4M shocks, as they use M2.5

The great bag of death, 😂
It gets me every time, thanks Mike. I still love these smaller Rc’s

@@mikesrccorner take care
I love my wltoys 2428 jeep! I replaced the 130 motor with a 180 50T motor and it made it even better. Really fun mini crawler.
Ordered mine, was wondering l, I can get hold of a 180 87t. Wondering if that will work well?
@@sandymclea works very well
Vc sabe se ele aceita baterias de maior amperagem
That looks like a pretty cool small crawlers and would definitely be modified so the weight balance was better. Cheers Mike
