I’m not entirely sure of the reasoning, but it could be due to cost considerations, such as reducing the packaging size for transport, or ensuring structural strength during assembly. However, the seams end up in awkward positions, making the correction process quite challenging. In that case, having the parts split vertically would have been much easier to work with. In the upcoming sequel, you’ll be able to see the scene where I fix those gaps, so please stay tuned! Thank you for your continued support of our channel!

I will be interested in your opinion of how Tamiya chopped the hull up into many pieces plus screw assembly. Will you build full hull or waterline?

そうなんですよ😅動画では総額を公表していませんが、軽く製品の価格は上回ってます👍
高額ではありますがディテールは凄いですよね。エッチング使用に比べたら手間がかからない分かなり時短になりますし、組み立ての楽しさはその分減っちゃいますけど、お小遣いに余裕があれば使ってみたいですね。

ただパーツが細かい為に取り扱いには注意が必要だし、サポート材から切り離す際に製品が古いと気を使うので、作業的には大変であることは変わらないと思いますけどね😅
