Dude i swear this is the most underrated bike channel. I dig this retro vintage and very organic vibe! An, like dude!,.. Ronnie was a body builder. Dude was swol 12 yrs ago lol
I mean this in the best way. I like to watch this video imagining its a look into a dimension where Varg Vikernes got more hugs as a child and likes fun. The resemblance is uncanny
I have a '70 Raleigh International I did a conversion on and I just love it. There's some flex in the frame but a stiffer BB and crankset made it comfy instead of noodley.
I too ride steel steed of 14 speeds with tube shifter and champagne capped bar ends to the local market to get the produce. There is also a mall old civil war cemetery but I havent thought to climb a tree there. Sometimes I hit the trails on the way to and aft. Smiles and miles all around. My next build will be based on your 2x wide ratio setup. Happy holidays to all!
Would love the details of your build. I have a 76 Raleigh Super Course MKII in Red/White I want to play with. Enjoyed this older footage of R.Romance!!
Nice one to dig out of the old archives. Looks like a nicely-appointed build, I really dig the neutrals. I was going to ask if those were the now-extinct Paul racers but they look more like DCs from here.
I've got a 74 international I've been thinking of doing this to - how much frame work was done? Is it very advanced work? Also where did you get those lovely fenders?

Takes me back to seeing Mando Rando at 15, changed my life for the better! No better ambassador for the art of taking it easy on two wheels.

Fenders are probably Honjo. Velo Orange make a version, but having owned both I've found the Honjo closest to the Lefol on my Jack Taylor Tandem.
Dope vid ❤
