I think it's adorable that they mate for life, I can imagine an old married grouchy couple

A condor was checking in for his flight. The clerk asked, "Do you have any luggage to check in?" He said, "No. Just my carrion."
Clever lol
Ba dum tss
Please kindly see yourself out thx for coming
Ive seen wild Andean Condor like two times in my life... unforgetable experiences
I saw a Condor hiking one day, it was following a pair of Turkey vultures that swooped in close to give my puppy a look.. Turkey vultures can create huge shadows over you, I see them all the time, but that Condor was truly scary when it flew over me! I just froze for a couple of minutes! Lol
@@oranjmusemeyer968 Yeaaahhh they're scary... but more than that... they are majestic.
I’ve lived in California my whole life and have only seen this bird once. It was massive. Probably the coolest thing ever to see driving down state route 1.
It’s not easy for condors, but they carrion
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'll accept that.
Mine was “carry on with your carrion.”
You know what they say, birds of a feather stick together. Their life might see pretty beak for them, but they survive. Pretty insbirdational.
Snowme Thanks dad
I apologize for calling the media vultures. They don’t deserve to be compared to such creatures.
I mean what has a vulture ever done to me.
Vultures are quite regal and beautiful birds, the media just kinda sucks
Angsty Tantrum 😍😇
Well at least if you are dead you wont notice their handy work...
A Vulture will never do "anything to you" but your Corpse maybe 😅
Labeling them “Mosquitoes” would be a far more accurate term, at least in my opinion
They never hurt a fly, they wait until things die before they eat them! And they do the world a favor being scavengers
Condors are so majestic. They’re the national bird of my country: Ecuador 🇪🇨❤️
That’s so cool! You have one of the most metal birds ever as your national bird. I’m jealous 😂 (eagles are cool too, but still.)
And peru
They have such a beautiful and dignified crown 🤩
Hey Paisa
And Chile! It is on our coat of arms.
So happy that their population is finally growing; that is why reintroducing programs are so vital
Condor: *hippity hoppoty your dead meat is now our property*

More capitalistic since they just take what doesn't belong to anyone.
Condors and Vultures are some of my favorite birds ever, and it's always heartbreaking to hear what went on with Cali Condors. I've lived in California my whole life (SoCal deserty region) and I think I've only seen about 3 condors in my life (plus the time we found a wing of one in our backyard with no others trace of condor).
They're all such underrated birds
When you can fit an entire species in one room it’s a problem, smh
Fun fact from a person that lives in Peru: Condor's have something really beautiful and sad about their mates, it is said that, once one of them is about to pass away, they both go to the most tallest mountian, and then they just let theirselfs throw from it, getting close to the ground, the one who is still going to live, spreed her/his wings to go up again, while the other just rest down.
But this is just an story, I would like to see if it really happens, it would be so cool but sad to see a couple doing this
edit: Ok, this is a lot of likes.
That is a very sad, yet beautiful thing that an animal could do, if your story is true. Thank you for sharing the story sir.
It's from a book. Not true
Sorry bud, birds are amazing, but often romanticized
We have the same story in Argentina, I've always wanted to know if it's true or not, but it's a great story.
That sounds poignant but I doubt it's true, animals don't have the grasp on the idea of commiting suicide. And how would they know their lifespan? They're not Gothitelles.
There's a chilean magazine called Condorito, that roughly translates to little condor.
Yeah, and it's on our emblem, and "manquehue" (a word native to here) means "place of condors", and it's our national animal, and yeah the list goes on. Chile = loves their condors

Condor: your failure is my success
I'm blessed to have seen a California Condor soaring above the Grand Canyon. Magnificent, both sights.
Bro i be learning new types of birds and fishes that I’ve never heard before by watching these videos
Bro!!! 😂

U never heard of a condor before?!?!
The condor in the thumbnail looked like a rhinoceros chick

A what now
They reminded me of a Gypceros from Monster Hunter.
To me, They look like an edmontosaurus.
Yeah you know... a female rhinoceros :P
These videos are so precious to me. I love everything, the amount of knowledge, the humor, the music etc 😅...just amazing work rock on ! 👏🏻🌎🧙🏿♂️
Agreed! Danielle offers this special love that I only feel when listening to David Attenborough.
You can just TELL this is their life passion.
You guys should do a Axolotl video! That would be so cool. Or a Rock Hyrax!
@ForestofTooMuchFood yes. In California and Perú the Andes mountains
@ForestofTooMuchFood Axolotls only exist in a single lake in Mexico
Im pretty sure theyve already done a video on them

When I grew up in San Diego I was always happy to see all the conservation efforts at the Zoo. They did some really amazing work there and at the Wild Animal Park as well.
I love your channel. I couldn't picture a more rad personality for this job than yours. Keep up the great work!
Ver lovely documentary of the bird of prey themselves the condors! Really love these birds and I wish they don’t go extinct! It’ll really be sad without these birds! They’re modern day dinosaurs! Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful bird. And even better they are together forever. How romantic is that. The grow up old together. 😊
"North American condors are in California and Arizona, and feed on marine mammals that wash up on the shore..."
Arizona is a land-locked desert, I thought. If there are marine mammals there, I'd love to see them.
"...Today they are only found in Arizona and California where they feed on marine mammals that wash up on the shore of the Pacific coast..."
I absolutely love their wings, I should start to reference their wings in my drawings
Ah yes: The titanic chicken.
Edit: oml thank you people.
Not to be confused with ultra mega chicken. He is legend.

Saw the Condors at the San Diego Safari Zoo. Amazing animals with an awesome story to share. They're the phoenixes of the animal kingdom with how they've risen from the ashes. I've heard that some native American tribes have condors in their mythologies. Condors are awesome!

The condor patagónico is one of the best birds, like, they are giant and hecking amazing. Every time we went to were they live I used to sit down for the whole day and drew them (they are terrible drawings) and just look at them in general.

5:14 i already loved vultures and condors but omfg that's the most wholesome animal kingdom thing ever >.
That's a clever comparison, _same reason restaurant kitchens aren't carpeted_ 😊👍
Also Danielle I love that shirt and you're lookin real healthy, girl!
With mega-fauna extinct, and the massive, constantly replenished body counts from European "settlement" of the Americas long past, and with modern day military conflicts less frequent and generating carnage on nothing like the scale of earlier wars, our best hope for a resurgence in the condor population now rests solely with the Corona virus. If THAT turns out to be a dud, we'd best start keeping pets, children and very short people indoors.
@Dino Nuggets condor-sized snacks
Absolutely love these videos. Its like conformtable and relaxing to watch. Plus we get to learn about the natural world. Thanks!

Vultures are my favorite animals ❤️❤️ TY ANIMALOGIC !👍
In my freshman year I was in the wild life club and we drove to marble canyon to go see them and have a close up at the lead testing procedure! They're amazing creatures!
Wow.. They Look Oddly Beautiful..
In the US the California Condor is trained to avoid dangers such as power lines and trash. The main threat to them is eating carrion which contains lead fragments. Conservationists even recapture Condors that have been reintroduced to the wild and place them back in captivity to serve as ambassadors and assist in mentoring other CA Condors. Also, in 2019 chick #1,000 was born in captivity. About 300-350 exist in the wild.
Guys, California made lead bullets illegal a long time ago
Your videos are always fun and informative! And I absolutely love your drawings! Also, your shirt is amazing.
Her name is perfect. It rolls off the tongue so well.
the music in the intro was so moving it made want to become a condor
Ive only seen turkey vultures where I live in California but would love to see a condor! Absolutely majestic looking animals 👍😎
I absolutely love that Ghost Pokemon T-Shirt.

I really love these videos...getting me thru quarantine!
That ghost-type T-shirt is so AWESOME! XD

I find it funny that the bond between two carian eating birds lasts long than some peoples marages
Nature is amazing. These birds have now evolved numerals in their plummage
Idk why but I like that the chicks stays with their parents for 2 years even after learning to fly...imagine a family of 4 or 3 condors just soaring up in the sky
