Thank you! So much GREAT info! Caught my interest 'cuz looking for a LNC2. Would love to see a video on your approach planning and plane management during landing :)
It would be interesting to see how this airplane would peform with a ROTAX 916is. Fuel efficiency would go trough the roof I guess. Thanks for sharing your plane with us. I‘m a big fan of these little rockets. Wish you nice X-mas! Greetings from Switzerland
Yeah, it's not often that I'm close enough to another plane in cruise to get a shot like that. I need to capture me taking off on the parallel next to a Cessna. Even though I'm climbing out relatively slowly, I still smoke them on takeoff too.
15:50 most times, doing the plenum isn’t as cool CHTs as well sealed baffles.. and changing spark plugs is more difficult.. as for that Rotec throttle body thing, DONT do it! Everyone that I know who did it has had nothing but problems with them.. junk! Either call Don at Airflow Performance for a fuel injection conversion, or stay with the carb.. which model carb do you have? The 3678-12 runs a little richer than the others, which should help your CHTs..
The early A/P was a Navaid unit, I had one, useless junk! Trio took them over and produced the EZ-2 and 3, then the Pro. Trio in my option are at the bottom of the list with Garmin being the best.
Yes, it's correct. Lancair have a 10 degree reflexed flap. When the flaps are aligned with the fairing, that's 0 degrees, she when they're reflexed they pull up above. Reflexed flaps, for those that don't know, help a plane fly faster.
Hmm, it’s fine when played here. I’ll look into it, see if there is something I can do. A compatibility setting or something. Thanks for letting me know.
Audio was fine for me. Nice lancair and love your changes & upgrades. I had a 360 years ago I bought from the builder and it always ran hot until I got the speed up in cruise climb...nature of the beast to some degree I believe with the tight cowling.

Ty for your detailed explanation of your super beautiful plane 🛬🛫✈️ truly a great job ☝🏻
Amazing walkthrough. Looking forward to hear more about what you do with it!

Love the plane. Great job
Informative thank you
great video, thanks!
Many thanks..
Great info, even for virtual Aerobask fliers like me.
Nice history; thanks for sharing. I'm sure that it was purely accidental that you zoomed in on that Cessna that you're dusting off at about 16:10. 😏

I don’t see how the original owner was scared to fly if ! Don’t make sense !
At 18:30 is the flap alignment correct? thx for new lancair content.

@@Lancair320 i like lancairs even more now :-).
CS prop on a 320? I don't know much about experimental stuff but how is this accomplished? Electric or hydraulic? Freakin sweet though!
Looks electric to me. I have an IO-320 with a hydraulic cs prop though
How much did you snatch the plane up for?
Well below what it is worth, and less than the price of an average new car. :)
Do you mean he didn't even fly off is 50 hours.

Very interesting but surely you have more audio to add to the report.... you were almost too low in level to be able to hear.

You obviously have a great deal of disposable cash. Nice Trump 2024🇺🇸!
Can you be any more boring
