Why is it happening during this time?

I think i have chronic urticaria, my muscles are very sore in the affected areas, I've been given fexofenidine 180mg but doesn't seem to help. I hope i feel better soon

i suffer with both , get both at the same time very frustrating
I've had it for two months now after taking ibuprofen. Incredibly frustrating.
I have a lot of different reactions, some are as you mentioned but my hives don't go away without help, and they always lead to Angioedema if not stopped. The swelling also affects my trachea giving me EXTREME heartburn. I've found over the years that what I am most effected by is Glycol. Other Americans have this issue, I'm not the only one but different glycols affect me differently. Migraines, heartburn, hives, pressure headaches, zaps my energy levels to the point of passing out. I know I'm hypersensitive but not sure which type. When I asked to be tested for Glycol sensitivity, they just laugh at me because the tests they use all have Glycol in them. Wish I could find help.

I have had anaphylactic shock a few times from bee stings and fire ants. My hives look like scolded skin and they're thick.
I’ve had urticaria show up in different forms throughout my body for 5 years now!!!! Last two years have been Daily its so frustrating it affects my mood for the rest of the day. Currently only taking either zyrtec or xyzal! Sometimes my hives start to show up before my 24hr pill is next so switch the times so instead of taking it at night i take it on the morning and that seems to keep my medicine work again!

My fingers on my right hand began to swell a week ago with sore spots. a few days later if I pressed on the fingers I could see tons of round white circles under the skin, tons of hive circles all over my fingers. my pinky had 6 circles on it similar to the other fingers. It will not completely cured by taking antihistamines.it can be cured within a weak even in 2 days

I got urticaria instantly and rapidly progressing after adopting a cat not knowing i was severely allergic back in 2013. We had to get rid of her 😞
but the hives got severely bad to the point of going to class and the change of air in the class room would cause me to go red with lumps everywhere in an instant. It continued for 5 years and I never knew what this was since my doctors seemed puzzled as well. I’d go outside in the cold and not know my face would lump up and get extreme heat flashes. My friends would point it out honestly it was embarrassing trying to endure and stay outside with them while burning and itchy.
The past couple years I have been fine, and forgot about what I suffered from. But just yesterday I got them for the first time when I got cold. Thank goodness for these kind of resources online. I would’ve never known. Thank you

I am suffering urticaria now, so sad, i think it is because of my medication. It so hard to focus on my works. The doctor gave me 60mg of allegra antihistamine, it only vanished for a day or after 24 hours it will come back again.

Wrong, in acute urticaria with more serious symptoms you use Corticosteroids. You don't use in chronic urticaria.

Barbara Vyse they actually work. My toddler needed them fast because his hives were horrible and getting swollen. I never cried so much and felt so incapable of protecting my boy. This was horrible and thank god he is better. Pedí gave him steroid and cetrimizine!! Plus 4 to 6 hour the benedryl.
I was given prednisone and I broke out MORE. Steroids didn’t work for me.
he is right there are more than one types angioedema some its no an histamne issue antihistamine or steroids dont work for...research a bit more
