I think a good storyline for Rick Woodson running with that John Smoltz comparison would be Woodson is an Atlanta kid who grew up watching the Braves and Smoltz was his favorite player. He's now pitching in the postseason at only 19 for his hometown team

I wish EA could create the same type of atmosphere in Madden.
Yeah SDS is really good with the presentation and realistic point of the game
I love football. But I played MLB The Show every day from release until Madden came out and enjoyed it every time, and could play for hours on end.
I don't see myself playing Madden for as long of a session or for as many months while still enjoying it.

Dude, the Reds just claimed Hunter Renfroe off waivers. I hope he is as good in real life as he is in your franchise series. I was shocked when I saw the transaction and immediately thought of this series.
The ending was such a moneyball moment, you could sense elly would hit the homer as soon as he was on deck.

Genuinely one of the best games I've ever seen in mlb the show. I was on the edge of my seat.
In my franchise with the Nats In game 1 of the wild card I went 22 innings! Game start was 8:15 and ended 3:45 AM. Nuts
I do not mind the lack of sleep I got to be able to watch this last night! Very exciting!
This reminds me greatly of that Cubs-Rockies wild card game in like 2018 where it went to like 16 innings and the score was like 1-0
I lied the score was 2-1 and it only went to 13

Ngl hunter greene has been struggling for me. Medrano has been struggling. Tbh my best pitcher so far well starters Brandon Williamson 2024 cy young. My best reliever is Liam slaughter. And Huoi-il-chow. He has a nasty RFB nasty curve and change. Not bad for a 67 overall
