OMG!!! This should really educate us all tbh! No matter how bad a person is weather they just die or you've killed them in self defense. That doesn't mean their family are always to blame and they're not bad people. I felt for his mum so much. Just because Callum turned out the way he did, it doesn't mean he had a bad upbringing! In fact, it makes more sense for him to have had everything from his mum which is why he felt entitled (not in a posh way) like he was someone and he was powerful! The poor woman is greiving for a son that didn't exist and to find that out the way she did from David was heartbreaking! I know alot of you love David, but he was just wrong with the way he spoke to her. The poor woman was terrified everytime she turned up at the house you could tell her anxiety had risen and she was on edge! Even kylie felt sorry for her and if anything it should be her holding anger. The crying she did when she said she shouldn't see max anymore because she's a bad influence, that nearly broke me 😢 david didn't even show any emotion, he carried on knocking her down by telling her even more of what Callum did. It does my head in the way a mum gets the blame every single time someone is a bad person and makes bad choices. I say, once we get past the age of 16 then everything we do is our own responsibility. If I was evil, I'd still hate it if people gave my mum greif! I get this is a tv show but we should really learn from this. Like when we hear of a low life criminal on facebook and the papers report that they've died and everyone is commenting "yayy" and "best news today" those people need to watch this and see how Callums mum reacts, and then they'll realise that no matter how much of a low life criminal that person is, they can still be someones son/daughter or someones brother/sister. No matter what my brother or sisters do it will always brake me if they died! I really felt for Marium, the actress is amazing because I don't normally get affected by these things because it's just tv, but the part where she cried and where she was anxious and on edge around David it really upset me! She needed a hug and for someone to be there for her!! 😢
Yeah, but something must have happened that made her unable to really support and look out for her son when he was young. Maybe she was being sweet only because Max was back in Callum’s life and devoted herself to be a loving grandma. On Christmas Eve, she told David that she was alone on Christmas because she wasn’t invited to her sister’s place. Maybe Callum’s lifestyle and behavior turned him off from his family and they just excluded her as well because she was an enabler.
Self defence or not. It's mad how some characters get away with murdering someone, and some don't. Like Rob, when he killed Tina they found out what he did! I get Tina was a good person and Callum wasn't, but murder is murder and we could see how bad of a person Callum was. But, if the "coronation street world" found out what they did it would just look like they killed him like Rob killed Tina. It would actually look even worse because they hid Callums body, but Rob didn't hide Tinas body. I'm not talking as a viewer I'm just talking as if this had actually happened in real life!
given the context of the situation and all the abuse and manipulation callum put both sarah, kylie and to an extent max through, killing him was the only way out. he had it coming
Sarah and Kylie bonded so much throughout and because of all this. ❤ Am glad David, Kylie and Sarah had each other.
I'm proud to be British from my dad's side and Italian 🇬🇧🇭🇺 from my mom

I do feel for Marion its not her fault Callum went down the wrong path it happens a lot even when parents try their parents
I mean looking at Shona and Clayton
I feel so bad for Marion, it's obviously not really her fault Callum turned out so awful. She's so lovely 😔💔😔💔
