This is hands down one of the best non-musical theatre songs I’ve listened to in a long time. I’m probably responsible for at least 100 of the views on this video. Keep making the music JRB.
That was absolutely gorgeous.
i did not know i needed this.
THIS SONG!! Thank you for doing this concert. Truly so beautiful.
This is so beautiful and has such a powerful message!
Gorgeous thank you!
Exquisite! Thank you!!!!
i’m hurting and aching
Is this from something or did he actually write this for this concert? Because it is utterly gorgeous and I assume that is his wife and daughters doing the beautiful background choral singing.
artistpino it was written prior to this concert- he wrote the song just before January. It’s about him moving to New York with his wife. jasonrobertbrown.com/2020/01/20/residency-setlist-vosk-on-fire-1-12-20/
Hard to believe it wasn't written for the pandemic. It is so beautiful, sad, and inspiring. The inclusion of his family just took it to next level.
Not coincidental that this was part of a virtual concert in the first months of the pandemic shutdown (April 2020).
