- We got around 27 inches of snow in Denver this past weekend, and Gus had a blast running around in the snow! Thanks to the strong winds, there were spots where the snow drifts were around 4 feet deep, and Gus had quite the fun time enjoying some snow zoomies and playing in it :)

We live up above Black Hawk, got 3 feet, and our Dane is losing her mind she's so happy! I haven't met a Dane that doesn't love the snow. A true German dog!

My Great Dane, George, knocked over my brother in a really funny way one year when they were playing in the snow. Georgie used to always get the zoomies when he played in the snow.

I kinda just found your channel and love it so much, I'm glad you posted this last video because Lindsey and Gus both seem really happy so I feel reassured that Zach just got super busy with work and kids! I love your content and would love to see more but I totally understand! I recently also had to let my "side gig" go on hiatus for the meantime to focus on the things in front of my face. It totally broke my heart to do it, because I knew I had created something wonderful, but you gotta stay sane somehow and you just can't do everything. Zach, I hope one day you find the balance in your life that you need in order to come back to this project! It seems like it's helped a lot of people already, thank you for all you did do 🙏❤️

Posted a video on Igor's UA-cam channel of him and my parents dog after we got 16/18 inches of snow last year. And the video doesn't do it justice, it was amazing watching Igor power thru all that powder like nothing. I've had 2 Danes so I'm pretty used to things most ppl would gawk at. But it was so impressive watching Igor dominate that snow. After loving snowfall as a kid I began to dread it for all the adult reasons. Now, I can't wait to go have fun with the Moose in the winter

Great upload. I had to laugh when you threw the snowball and Gus dutifully ran after it and even sunk his nose down right where it hit, ...nothing. Thanks for building the Great Dane Community Knowledge.
My 6 year old granddaughter said she looks like a shadow on the snow and that she is beautiful. And if Gus was a boy, he would make pretty puppies with our Great Dane.
I'm from Australia, so I don't get much snow where I live but there is some snow in the mountains in winter, so I hope to take my 3 dogs to the snow one day :)

Hi , I just accidentally found your channel , thanks for sharing your dog. Our great dane has passed away recently, watching your dog is a really helpful and healing remedy for us because she reminds us our girl , she was 15 y old.

When we had our "snowpocalypse" in West Texas last month my 6 month old blue boy was just like this.....I had a hard time with potty time keeping him focused. If I let him he would have stayed outside playing in snow in the single digits until he was hypothermic. I was very surprised as my last Great Dane was a cold weather wuss!

We go camping a lot and just got a Great Dane. I cant find any one piece travel kennels for the back of a truck. Any one know of any 54 inch travel Kennels?
I haven't seen any, have the wire 54 inch crate to use with mine.

Did you get Gus stomach attached gastopexy surgery to avoid stomach turning ? Are is they way that I can avoid surgery and not get for my Great Dane
We never got our girl surgery for her stomach. We just follow rules. No activity for a few hours after they eat. Walk and play with them before they eat. Give three meals instead of two to lessen the amount of food in their stomach. Keep them lean, stick to dog food. Ik it's hard with a Dane lol but you really have to resist table food and stuff like that. Give healthy treats. A lean Dane is a healthy Dane.
I really think you need more videos like this showing your dog habng fun and maybe you talking off frame instead of you talking on a couch in a monotone voice. You'll get way more subscribers.
