@@johnpalmer5131 I was going to say that! :) AND they've continuously improved the accuracy and quality of the product, it's MUCh better than the original in some ways :)
People in the Philippines have been reproducing the jeep ever since WWII, I believe. I have been there several times. I have seen jeeps in galvanized steel, stainless steel (brushed and polished) and occasionally painted. All with various engines. Gasoline and Diesel.
Imagine a full MB Jeep body made from Brass sheet!! :) .. If you talked to the right people at the factory!? The only obstacle would be the right amount of cash! :) ..
Exactly right! They remake Jeep CJs and Wrangers in a variety of body styles you may choose from. And using reliable engines such as Toyota, Isuzo, Mitsubishi and others. That is what makes it Fun in the Philippines!...🎉🎉❤❤😊😊
Amazing! Thank you Willys Legacy for sharing this informative video on this iconic jeep manufacturing factory in the Philippines. The Jeep Lives On! Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!
Juan, The folks of PI are amazing people.... There are craftsman all over the country. Amazing job building jeep bodies. Best of luck with the business.
I think it's great that they make these aftermarket parts for Jeeps. I had a short obsession with Jeeps when I was a teenager. I soon realized that I needed something more versatile.
It was so interesting, i did not know that they still made the willis jeep. I m owner of a yj jeep.Simple reliable, tuff and 4x4 is all i need. Thank you for showing this. From Canada.
THey also one day, need to sell a parts only drive train to complete the jeep. Lots of young guys would love these things and could actually afford one.
I live in a little town in the middle of Outer-NoWhere. I could tell you its name but its not on any map, its so boring. The other day , I saw a Proud Elder, driving one of these jeeps and the first time I saw one. I gave him the thumbs up and waved in Appreciation. They look great in Real life, Even where I live.
Very interesting company and the products they produce... I really like the older style bodies with the Toyota engine and drive train.. either gas or diesel... That would be a very reliable combination.... Especially tooling around the Philippines...
Interesting. They make all the sheet metal parts but is anoyone in the Philippines completing the vehicle by installing the drive train, suspension, and electrical components?
US manufacturers should do this: Offer a bare bones car or truck with no whiz bang heated seats or windshield wiper headlights, or electric windows, none of that. I dont know who can afford a base model 2024 car or truck for 80 Grand. Maybe when I win the Lottery or become bill gates, but auto prices here are outta this World. RH DSD
@@imdark4975 I have a neighbor who has one of these (granted its semi stainless, only 2wd with a 1 litre ohc engine) says he had it for over 30 years. They really last.

Wow this is super cool but there is so much more information missing. I hope theses jeeps stay in production indefinitely. Is it possible to buy a fully assembled Jeep with the Toyota engine in the Philippines? I heard some stories they are trying or have mandated the end of the jeep ni. Would love to know more about their modern jeep accessories too.

They phase out the old traditional jeepney this year.the modern jeepney has euro 4 emission system electric motor, cctv, high celing at least a standing person, more cspacity, tap card,etc........md juan jeep can also ship by specific parts, fully assembled or pre assembled.

Thank you MD JUAN for keeping the real jeeps alive!❤❤ I'd certainly buy from u. Loads of love from India ❤❤
WOW, I had no idea Willys Jeeps were popular enough to keep a factory running!
Finally someone brought back the old efficient iron horse. I'd love to have one.

He needs to come to America and Start a Factory here. WHat a great Company! Thank You.
No way, unions will kill it, keep it out of dirty lobbiest hands
Considering jeep will sue a youtube channel for having "jeep" in the name.... I doubt they would set back for a reproduction of this product.
That's not very easy. Better off just stick to the Philippines. The unique country that remakes Jeeps and restores Old School Cars and trucks...🎉❤😊

government regulations require a lot of safety features now.
air bags etc, and cheapest car can't be made any less than $20,000 because of those laws.
Amazing reproductions. Back in the 70s, in north Africa, I had a CJ3B. Any chance that you reproduce those too? If so, how can I buy one?
They aren't actually reproductions. They are real Jeeps.
