You can tell that the person that made this deeply understands not only george harrison but also the album this would have been put on and what inspired harrison. Anyone can take one of his outtakes and make a song but it takes someone that truly understands harrison to produce a song that sounds truly like a harrison song. I think this producer, George Harrison's son and Jeff Lynn are the only people alive in the world today that can accomplish that.
This is actually quite phenomenal. Sounds just like it would if it was produced by George Harrison himself, it's uncanny. Very well done. Can't get enough of this song.
Wonder why this song was never released? More wisdom from George, you know he's at the Cosmic Empire now, R.I.P. My sweet Lord! See you one of these days 🙏💜💫
Man, this is the closest sonding bootleg ever. I mean, is this even a bootleg at this point?? Tbh, I heard the official release first today and I'm just so impressed with how close this sounds
I don't know how you made all these voices and voice harmonies with the original George and his guitar recording, they sound so gooood! You really nailed George's style, that's really great!
Others have already said what's in my heart after hearing this, so I'll just sum it up: Absolutely Outstanding!! If you hadn't been completely forthright in your description, I'd have thought this was an actual Harrison studio recording. Love the production, love the arrangement, love the love that went into creating this!
Agreed with what others have said...this is much like what I believe George might have done with it if he hadn't had to leave so soon. What a pleasure to hear it so wonderfully, joyfully, and masterfully developed!
He had more than thirty years to finish this if he had wanted to. Why he didn’t is kind of baffling. George could have easily put out twice as much material than he did
Fantastic work. Worthy of George. You brought out the potential of the song and it shines more than ever! Thanks for doing this and posting! I love it.
Absolutely BRILLIANT. Apart from the music what I liked the most was when the picture of 2001. You put it right at the correct moment of the music. Hope you understood what I meant.
This is great and very George but wish you'd kept the little guitar break to the minor 7th in the demo. It adds a texture to the song and is actually the part of the song that sticks in my head the strongest - so I miss it when it's not there.
I absolutely love what you did with this video. George would be very proud because I honestly feel many guitar parts in this version is what he would do. You are awesome for posting this.
Thank you! Perhaps I will write something from the 'conspiracy theory' series, but with a + sign!!! I can't quite believe that this is a 1970 recording, just like the Fear of Flying track. They are more sonically comparable to Somwhere in England 1981 or later. I would classify A Beatles dilemma - Nowhere to Go or Dehra Dun as 1970. And producer Phil Spector would certainly find a place on All Things Must Pass! :))
I've heard 3 tracks with new backing by this guy today. They're fantastic. Surely there's a market out there for these. My compliments to you. George would surely approve 👍
Brilliant work Walrusz, if George Martin is the 5th Beatle, I thought of Jeff Lynne as potentially the 6th because he was so inspired by the Beatles & worked with George etc in producing them but now there is a 7th Beatle called Walrusz. Truly well done! Just 1 thing would you be able to added some further info on musicians involved & when?
@@walrusz Hi Walrusz, like you i sometimes feel compelled to flesh demo songs out, 1 being Syd Barrett's song 'Milky Way' ua-cam.com/video/r2PavIoBDJo/v-deo.html where i made a film & added keyboard, wood block & Tibetan singing bowl. If you like it i would love a thumbs up & comment as i respect your sonic additions greatly & am extremely happy to reciprocate with all your UA-cam uploads, cheers & take care stan

walrusz! Would it be asking too much for you to remaster this masterpiece you’ve made using the newly-released version of George’s demo that came with the ATMP 50th Anniversary? Here’s hoping! I listen to this over and over again. You nailed it, man!!
Interesting idea Kevilroo.... The trax I originally used for my version were completely separated in stereo (Vox and guitar), so I could cleanly edit to the drums etc. Dunno if I could do it with the new mixed and mastered version..thanks for your comments!
Great job!!! May I ask how you learned to do this? How you know what chords to use etc, is it a by ear thing? I'd love to be able to do what you do, it amazes me. Thanks and keep it up :)
Yes I just listened closely and figured it out. Then I had to find the tempo, then spread out his vocal in my recording program, then add everything and mix it.
You're literally insane... bravo man. P.S.: If you still have it, do you have just the backing track on its own? (like one without george's vocals) I'm a singer as well (mainly covers). Also, if you're interested, maybe you could produce some tracks for my cover album I might be recording at some point. if you wanna, hmu
@walrusz you're a legend! i see you've done requests. can you please do george harrison's "i'll still love you (whenever)"? i can email you the best quality mp3 i have. it's my absolute favorite song!!! i can' only imagine how much you could add to it
This is amazing! I have to ask, has it been recorded in a studio or is it all synthesisers? Either way, it is incredible! I've just uploaded George's original demo to my channel but I've moved around some of the phrases and riffs to make it sound like how it may have done had it been released and properly structured, if you want to check it out. :)
Thanks for the kind comments Rock music fan... I did use a drum machine on this one... But I do have a home studio and everything else is recorded as what it sounds like it is... Acoustic guitars electric guitars bass guitar keyboards and lots of backing vocals

No, you are SO fucking wrong about this. If this was a child's work, that would be the only excuse for this "paint by numbers" production drivel
I totally agree with you. I am really starting to enjoy this version and yup, the slide guitar really brings out George's style. Well said
You sound like a wonderful man, Simpleton...😅@@Humblemumble7
It would have been better if it incorporated Harrison’s actual guitar parts though

Jeff, Eric & Dhani should provide a new backing to George's Cosmic Empire, and release it.
