I don't work for them but I think this video is bad. Shit happens in big scale manufacturing. This company is one of the few that doesn't try to deny stuff but recalls the bad product without needing an extra pressure from government.

This is why regulation is important. The US has poor food regulation because politicians are ignorant and distracted by political fighting.

No, regulations are why monopolies and mega corporations are able to build up with minimal effort in the first place. For example, intellectual property puts innovation in control of the corporations. Intellectual property rights cannot be enforced without government oversight.
Mars and every other food company lobbies the FDA and congress to keep regs low. Probably a lot of former FDA types working inside the company too. That's what happens with Medical stuff, people move back and forth between the regulators and the regulated so nothing ever really gets fixed for the rest of us.

Make your own dog food. It is not that hard to do, and it does not take up any more time than cooking for you or the rest of your family. I've been doing that for 11 years, and my dog is in great health.
It can also be very cheap, feeding your dog doesnt have to be expemsive. Yall can make them whats called "dog slop" its basicly boiled meats like liver gizzards or lungs, rice, some grians, tortilla, or bread all combined into a stew with just a pinch of salt. Dogs love anything with lard aswell. Best part you can feed them only twice a day, once in the mouring and once at dinner time

In software, not all data is updated in real time. Some parts of the software can show certain levels of delay according to architecture decisions. I'm pretty sure the "likes" feature is completely separated from the "views" feature so eventually there's some divergence between this two pieces of information. Unless we're dealing with nuclear facilities or life depending software, its fine. 👍

Been feeding my dog human food since puppy….the amount of backlash I get I had to keep it a secret and lie about how I feed my dog.

This is something I knew but enjoyed watching a deep dive into. I'm particularly passionate about avoiding kibble dog food- when I got my girl off kibble she lost 15 pounds withing a couple months and that was the only change. Her arthritis symptoms subsided and her coat got shiny and healthy. It was such a dramatic change so quickly it was jarring. It made me very suspicious- then I found out they owned so many vet clinics and everything made sense 😢

Thanks for making this video. I had no idea this was happening. There's a Blue Pearl Emergency pet clinic in the county where I live, and some of my friends (including my self) have had bad experiences there.
People in my town got a fatal illness from manufacturing mars dog food. They did get nice settlement along with the fatal illness

On the product recalls, I believe this was a 'free advertising' move. They get their product named in prime time news, and of course, get portrayed as 'extremely responsible' by massive recalls.
