Thank you so much for coming and covering The Cookout Soul Sunday. This is amazing! It’s so good to see how you captured this important event. Thanks a million!
Wow, this is amazing to see my culture in Thailand? 🇹🇭 The Cookout Soul Sunday Event..❤This is so much love laughter, good times , good soul food good friendly vibes..when I go on vacation I’m definitely stopping to this community..this is wonderful thank you for this video!! ❤❤❤
Thats such an exciting time! I hope you can find some value here and let me know if there are specific things you would find helpful as someone preparing to move here so maybe I can incorporate that into my videos! 🙏🏾✨
Happy Black folks😮😮😮😮 in one place. Maybe getting out of America is what we needed. Thailand is alright. Might visit it. Moving to the Philippines in 2026. So happy to see Black folks happy as hell, eating Soul Food without any kind of judgement
Its a absolute beautiful vibe...we all need a little taste of home to fuel the fire inside being so far away from our communities in the west...enjoy 💕
@@Love2travHi thanks for the comment, the food was all provided by the team behind the Soul Sunday project. It’s not a restaurant BUT the lady at the end of the video is the organizer so you could reach out to her directly for information about upcoming events and also the food! There's always something going on! Facebook groups are really helpful for finding events. Brothas and Sistas of Thailand and Adventures While Black are great starting points.
Aw I know the feeling! When it’s time to move, it’s time to move! It’s definitely a privilege to be able to relocate, I hope you find a way! And your cooking videos look great 😋😋 subscribed!✨
@@TracyJujara-v5u Yes this is a group mainly for members of the community who are already here in Bangkok but if you are looking for a starting point and some good resources the Facebook group ‘Brothas and Sistas of Thailand’ is very active.
Hey! That’s awesome! You should join the Facebook groups Brothas and Sistas of Thailand and Adventures While Black. There are many Black American expats in these groups so you can introduce yourself and start to build your network! 🙌🏾✨
@ I haven’t experienced any hurricanes flooding is no joke here 🥲 I will say that Thai people are very resilient, resourceful and just get on with it but as a foreigner it can be quite chaotic and difficult when the rainy season hits.

That’s a wonderful event, but I don’t wanna go all the way to Thailand for another black experience. I want to experience the Thai people’s experience, but that’s still a good idea to do that. Not saying that it’s not a good idea, but I would not go that far to Thailandto hang around a whole lot of Black people. That’s just me and I’m black and I want to try another culture that’s just me, but I do appreciate my own. Don’t get it twisted😂
@@george4u1960 totally understand that, I think if you’re a long term expat you just miss the vibes sometimes. I’m from the UK and I never really had a community like this until I moved to Thailand! Kinda crazy (I’ve been here for 10 years) Thanks for your comment!
@@ctiling9058 thank you! 😊 some events are more for the Black community or people connected to the community like who want to support in some way or partners so I think maybe reaching out directly to an organizer to ask would be appropriate. I’ve never heard of anyone being asked to leave or anything but usually if it’s a community event it’s implied that it’s a Black community event. My fiancé is Polish and I bring him and he’s welcomed. Hope that helps!
Actually, if you paid attention they were talking about the "FACEBOOK" page they found the event on. That was called "Brown Skinned Connected". So...maybe pay better attention instead of trying to find the negativity.
Thailand will be socially destroyed in 5 years tops. This is what happens when you have old fools inviting the unwanted. Thank god they don't know about my hideout in South East Asia. Thailand is toast 😂😂😂
