Can roof top tent be installed on the Expedition roof rack made for Land Rover Discovery 3/LR3?
The side of the roof basket are really tall, and i can't figured how to install the RTT
I'm making a galvanised frame to attach to a box trailer for the roof top tent. Where you slide the screws in the channel to attach to a roof rack or similar how wide are the hole centres in the flat bar please?

Any videos for installing the hard case roof top tent? Or very similar? Also will roof racks be sufficient? Or do you need a flat rack?
You need a full length flat rack for a hard shell rooftop tent
Currently building a frame to mount on my Ute for one, what Is the distance between the rail centres please. It’s not stated in the product specs

Hi Joshua, unfortunately it won't suit sorry due to the sides, if you are looking at the Roof Top Tent it will suit the roof top tent rack, if you are looking at the Kwiky Roof Top Tent the flat rack is the best option. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with - Samantha
do we need roof racks /cross bars and this rack or can the rack be mounted onto factory rails?

What vehicle would you be installing the Roof Top Tent onto? If you have factory rails, you will require cross bars to be installed and than from there you will be able to u-bolt the roof rack onto these. I see these type of tents all the time but one thing makes me nervous. When it folds out, there doesn't seem to be a deal of support, except for the ladder? How much weight can they support when climbing in? I am 6'6" 330lbs (660kg) It just seems like the I would beak it! Hahahahaha any ideas on the weight limit on the folding seam? Curious.
G'day, the roof top tent itself doesn't have a weight limit as it will depend on the vehicle that it is being installed onto. Each vehicle do have different dynamic load ratings. We have seen families of four however fitting into the tent with no issues. The ladder itself has a weight limit of approx 110-120kg however. Cheers - Samantha

i'm pretty sure 330lbs is more like 115kg mate. you'd be pretty big if you were weighing 660kg :)
Can the roof top tent fit on the tradie rack with side rails?

How heavy is this tent ? Pajero sport has only 60 kg weight limit

What's the size of the flat steel plate, and the space between the two holes? I have Suzuki roof bars but I'm afraid it could be too wide.

4WD Supacentre I have Suzuki aero cross bars. There are wider than normal bars so I'm guessing the steel flat plate will be too short

Hi , I am planning to buy that tent from you . I have a Toyota Hilux dual cab 2004 . Can I use a Rhino roof rack as a base for the tent ?
G'day Matias, we recommend getting a roof top tent rack in addition, this just gives the roof top tent a bit more stability and helps with installation. They are available here >

Hi I have a Mazda CX3 and am wanting to buy a rooftop tent k=like this one. I have factory fitted roof racks which have a weigh allowance of 75kgs. Would they be strong enough for this? If not what can I buy to do so?
