it's worth to note that EVERY particle effect has a chance to be one of 8 different color variations: blue, green, purple, red (and the more rare) gold, white, black and rainbow. And that the infinity split counter also tracks the different color options and considsers them as seperate unique splits. So for example: a spiderman with a gold background and WHITE glimmer effect will be counted as a unique variation than a spiderman with a gold background and a BLACK glimmer effect. Keeping that in mind we have a total of 132 infinity split variations. Was hoping this video could provide the exact numbers of the different color variations. Very informative video nontheless.

Is there a way to get the base card art with a particle effect? Some cards just have really nice animated backgrounds that I dont wanna ruin. If thats not available I wish they would add that...

I'm glad someone finally clarified the glimmer effect having different colors I got a sentinal with black glimmer and I was confused.
Had to do some research!
It'd be interesting to see if one day we'll be able to "trade" cards with other players, like real-life card playing games. Or maybe even hand in a split card you don't like for sum of credits + boosters, so you could split it again.
We'd be a little shocked if we ever got something like that, but here's hoping - cross your fingers!
CCGs historically do not feature trading, but a "disenchant" system could be useful... That said, I wouldn't keep my hopes up.
Not gonna happen with electronic CCG unless the system is almost an exact replication of the physical game like Magic the Gathering Online.
Well the fact that this game has ONLY digital cards and no psychical I would like to trade system. It would be nice and it would feel like a digital trading card game ect.

Many cards have a really cool background that gets destroyed by the foil effect. I like the sparkle comet things but replacing the background makes many cards look much worse.
That gold background looks cool though.
I agree 100 percent. Rainbow background, rainbow border, rainbow effects. This really puts me off the game. I'm not fond of rainbows so. Really disappointing.
I too would love to have the cool effects on cards with their original backgrounds. Or let us combine them once we unlocked them at least

Yeah these rainbows everywhere are ugly asf.... Decided to not upgrade my cards any further anymore then ultra :( hope we get to modify the borders etc sooner then later !

My Medusa split into the holographic infinity with a common border and I was so confused but now she's in track to split yet again. I absolutely refuse to upgrade anyone else until she splits again. It adds a whole other level to the game honestly.
i got the red comic efect on the first split in my spider man clone variant, it just blew my mind
I actually split my Jubilee 2 times recently, 1 with black glimmer effects and one with white glimmer effects
It’s now possible to get a particle effect on your first split if you upgrade a common card all the way to infinity with the new upgrade multiple tiers at once feature.
Some card split is so bad because the background details are lost, especially my Sabretooth variant with him and Wolverine fighting in the back.
I'm trying to keep all my cards with gold border, but not sure for how long it's gonna be possible. It's the most beautiful one IMO.

The standard is just the words marvel snap in different colors but I’ve seen back of cards that look like cassette tapes and Loki, how do you change that or do you have a video that covers it? When you get a card to infinity you should be able to change the border colour and the effect ie. 3D and frame break and stuff,

Hey man I just would like to share a quick info, I got one super rare variant from the shop 2 days ago and at my 1st split ( original card to splited version ) I got the rainbow foil + the comets rotating around the card effect. So im pretty sure that the image showing that 1st split has 100% chance of getting none reveal effects is incorrect 👍👍 ( just some luck needed I guess )
Thanks for the info! We have no reason to believe that the datamined chart is incorrect currently - have you split the character before even though it's a brand new variant? Otherwise, we'd love to see some photos of this. Thanks! :)
@@marvelsnapzone Heyyy! Actually I did split the standart card couple of times before the new variant, then I did some research and it looks like the splits rates are cumulative for the "character" and not each variant individually, tnx for the content man 😁👊

You WILL eventually get every split you want. It will just take some time since there are 132 different split combinations available at this moment. You can't unlock dublicates, so again 'eventually' you will have your desired one ;P
I want inkify + Kirby crackle cards. Those one are sick.
I've gotten both purple and red glimmer, and black comet effects (didn't see those showcased)
Lol i've been splitted Chibi version of Armor for the seventh time and i still didn't unlock the black and white version or the gold background i mean, c'mon game, how long it's gonna take? Maybe eight is the lucky one?

You forgot the comic effect of the ink jet dots like an old school printing press for newspapers. You can see it strongly in Death, mildly in Angela.

When it comes to 1200 gold variants, they're only available in the shop, so it's mostly a personal preference!
Good stuff, nice to get a lay-out of it all.
I really like a lot of character art inkified but because it does the background to it makes it seem like it's unplayable at a glance. Ink with the gold back would probably be glorious.
With them adding so many color variants maybe there should be, or is a pity system so you don't end up with like 10 foil comics without seeing anything really new. Splits are kind of a big thing to just be getting color swaps from.

Does the split number mean the amount of times you have split a specific card, or how many splits you have done altogether in your collection?
Number of times you've split "a character" - like Angela, Iron Man or Yondu!
Does splitting a gold background card changes its background again??
Since grey border cards don’t get boosters in priority it’s really long to get ink or gold split

Kirby crackle switch colours with time, its not static, it goes all colours
It does indeed switch between a selection, but we believe there is different selections according to the people who submitted the screenshots :)
If we cant get duplicates from a split, doesnt that mean we're GUARANTEED to have pulled at least ONE rare effect/background by split #9?
Lets say we get the absolute unluckiest rolls:
Split #1 - Foil
Split #2 - Prism
Split #3 - Foil + glimmer
Split #4 - Foil + Cosmic
Split #5 - Prism + glimmer
Split #6 - Prism + cosmic
Split #7 - Foil + sparkle
Split #8 - Prism + sparkle
(All common combinations now obtained)
So after split #9 we're guaranteed to have gotten at least 1 rare background / particle effect at this point.
Now that we have different colours of glimmer and comic, we're not totally sure that's true anymore. As you could go:
Split 1: Foil
Split 2: Prism
Split 3: Foil + Glimmer
Split 4: Foil + Different Colour Glimmer
For an example

I just wanna confirm: let's say I have groot fully upgraded 3 times so 3 splits. Then I get a variant groot and fully upgrade him. My split level will be at 4 now for groot overall correct? Thanks in advance!

I split my blue marvel and iron heart but why can’t I add the infinity one in the deck ? Also we can have both in the same deck?
You can, click the waffle next to the card. Also- no you can still only have one of each card.

Glad you enjoyed! It's briefly covered, but you cannot get the "exact" same version again, but you can hit the same combination of particle and background with a different colour :)

I have a couple infinity splits for some of my most used cards in my decks, but I do not have any of the cool splits. I really like the ink with grey border but if I keep it grey I won't get gold which I also want.
It's a tough call! we're all hoping to be able to select a border soon!

Great video, thanks for all the information. I was wondering if there are some faster ways to obtain boosters. Let's say, if I have just splitted a card, is there any difference between using the infinity one or the foil one, in order to obtain more boosters? I mean, the foil card, which is at common rarity, has an increased chance to get boosters or not? But in general, low rarity cards have an increased chance to get boosters than max rarity ones?
Hi there! We believe there is a slightly higher chance of uncommon and common cards getting boosters, but we don't know of any "cheat code" to get faster boosters

What to do If i get an inked Card of a Variant that i want to be golden?
For example i have yondu Tag Team Variant. With the First Infinity Split IT turned inked. How to make it golden?

So you can never have Foil+no particle and Prism+no particle at the same time? Since you start getting guaranteed particle effects from split 3 onwards?
I believe that is correct, until you run out of other Splits.

The only downside to this game is how long it takes you to get these. You should be able to choose which split you want after the 1st (3rd version)
Hi I've seen other cards that have split effects like the cosmic circle around it, but without the shiny background, and came here to find out how to get that. Would you have any idea whether its another type of variant not mentioned in this video, or if I can somehow deactivate the shiny background?
Only bots can currently have a particle effect with no foiling. We expect that to change in the future.
I have seen in many places that "the progress is kept from variant to variant of the same card/character". But, this means only that if I have done 5 splits and I switch to a new variant I have the possibility to get a gold background or does it also mean that in the new variant I cannot get the same combinations (background and particle with certain colour) I already have in the other variants?
You'll have a chance at Gold straight away! :)
I have black comets around my black panthers the color black is rare ?
We have no idea if any particular colours are rarer than others atm, but we don't believe so

Infinity Splits cannot be purchased with gold. There isn't a "best variant" to buy, really. People just buy ones they like

correct me if im wrong, but I think before if u continue to split u will eventually get all 16 varieties. With the addition of the colored particles that changes right?
You will "eventually" still get every possible split, there's just WAY more than 16 at this point.

Was there changes to this at some point? I have a Gold that is only 3rd split and according to your chart shouldn’t be possible till the 5th split.. (it’s a base and I split no variants of it)
We believe the stats for this have changed several times at this point
I've seen gold backgrounds with no particle effect on the card. Is there a chance that the particle effect doesn't show up on higher split levels?
At this time, only bots can have cards with a rare background and no particle, or a particle with no background. We expect this to change soon!

i've split ~20 times, some variants split more than 5 and haven't been able tell a difference at all between different infinity splits. they literally all look the same, really disappointing :(

You will eventually get everything, but the permutations are ridiculously high as of time of writing

At this time, the number of different versions is very very high, but not infinite. You're not capped on how many times you can split :)

Hey man, why are some of the particle effects after the latest patch no longer visible on the cards on the board? How can you flash new split variant, when your opponent does not see it.
I'm still able to see my opponents particle effects with a click in game, so sadly this wasn't something I was aware of till now
@@marvelsnapzone You have to enlarge the card to see the effect but before the patch you could clearly see it when sitting on the board. It is kinda disappointing.
Lets say, after i unlock all 4
Backgrounds and all 4 effects, can i pick a variant i have of the card i have all these options and mish mash select the effects i want? Or does the effect/background can only be used by that split that grantes me that effect/background
You cannot - the effects are currently assigned to a card when you split it. Your fifth split will be an entirely new combination

no fan of splits roulette. I would like to have different art styles, but the whole have 48 cards to get an effect seems kinda stupid to me

Wow, everything leveled high is full of rainbows. I'm not a fan. Kinda puts me off playing. Now I'm not sure if I wanna keep playing it.
I don't like this system. They litter the collection with a huge number of randomly generated duplicates. What for? Why not just let the player upgrade one card so that some cosmetic improvements open up for upgrade levels? After that, the player would just go to some menu at the card and craft the card he needs at the moment, choose the color of the frame, background, effects.

Only 4/13 first splits have been hexagons. I don’t think this information is 100% accurate considering this only would happen 8.73% and I doubt I’m that unlucky
This information has been datamined from the game files, and therefore we have no reason to believe it is incorrect
This is too confusing they should just let you click the card and tells you the rarity and effect

This patch was horrible, ive gotten 3 splits in a row exactly the same with slightly different colors on the very tuned down particles, im never splitting again, im going to put every single card in the game on the last border

So if I am understanding this right. All it does is give you the exact same card with a ever so slightly different background or prospective effect. Which you then need to upgrade that version of the card to get a new/another one with a new background or prospective effect?!
Sounds to me this is pretty much nothing more than a whale milking gimmick.
You cannot really spend money to do this, so hardly a whale milking really.

Have you finished getting the collection? Would you need to spend money if you wanted to pursue this without it taking a very very long time?!
