For these mystery variants they need to release themes. For example one week do cosmic character variants. Another week do the characters of Hells Kitchen. Or an Avengers week.
Allow us a bit more focus on getting the variants instead of Rng on an RNG shop.

the fact that they only give you 3 super rares guaranteed is a pretty big scam considering a rare is 700 instead of 800 😅

You pay 7,200 gold total for 9 variants. 3 of which cost 3,600 total (3 super rares) and 6 of which cost 4,200 total (6 rares). You’re saving 600 gold on variants total at the cost of not choosing them. Kinda low on the amount saved since you don’t get to choose any of the variants :/ I can see the appeal though, hopefully they adjust the rates at some point or the prices so you’re at least saving a little more gold cuz I wouldn’t spend my gold on it atm 🤷🏻‍♂️ I prefer to save for bundles anyway.

@@referenceking8848 ah okay i appreciate the breakdown of the math, my issue is that the only people who would actually buy several of them are whales in my opinion, and if someone was to randomly buy one they’re more likely to get ripped off. it should just be completely random i dislike that they always have to make systems in the game that secretly reduce the rewards you can get

Isn't the rarity of the variants like, absurdly arbitrary?
What parameters do they take into account to define that? Why the Max Grecke Doctor Octopus is a Rare but the Max Grecke Green Goblin is a super rare?
It looks completle random, which kinda takes away the point of Variants having rarity in the first place, because there's nothing about super rares that's guaranteed to make you like them more than any other rare.
It's the most artificial feeling of reward I've seen in a long time. It's as if they served you the same Soda in two glasses and they sold you one for twice the price of the other.

I'd much rather focus on if I like the variant I've got personally (is it cool visually for me etc.) than super fixating on the fact if it is rare or is it super rare, don't get this approach
