Not everyone has photoshop or download just for this so asking. Can we not just create a blank back png file instead? Will that work?
Use online photoshop (which is free) or use paint

Save it as a .png not .jpeg
@@PhoenixArchfiend of course mate i did save it as png I tried three methods 1. Erase it. 2. Select transparent and save as png 3. Selects transparent cut it and save the rest as png :(

You can only add photos I'm afraid however a .gif might work, try converting the .mov into a .gif online
First off, MOV eats resources, convert to WEBM. It'll look just as good in most cases and be much smaller. Second, just add blank frames to your animation same as you would with this slideshow trick. Boom, timed animation.
Case in point, I stream with my girlfriend and I have a lower thirds for each of us. Mine starts right away and lasts 4 seconds, hers starts when mine ends and plays for another 4 seconds. Then the rest of the video is 9 minutes and 52 seconds of blank frames. Essentially it's a set of lower thirds for each camera that pops up once every 10 minutes.
