NewYork Stewart - where so many of those planes went for the week - must have been a AvGeeks paradise. And it is not a large airport so that many planes on the ground would be fantastic to see. Great video.

I live close to Stewart (SWF) and we often get the aircraft that have dropped off their leadership at JFK for the U.N. conferences. Reason - there’s a lot more parking area and it’s much cheaper than JFK! We also get weather diversions from the NYC airports. And there’s an ANG station here as well, C-130s and C-17s. Lots of general aviation too. Commercial flights? Not too much, Frontier, Allegiant, and Play.
The President 🖖 has to have a Boeing 747 for the one hour twenty minute hop from the nearest air force base to the White House. Has he not heard of Zoom? 🤨
This video was probably filmed in 2021 since this year’s events saw world leaders arriving in JFK from London after attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and meeting King Charles III.

It has to be bigger than when I flew in and out regularly in the mid 1990’s… And notice the two countries that didn’t have regular passenger jets?
