Oh......God......carnatic music is really an ocean. Your presentation, Malavi raag delineation in particular is really not only breathtaking but .... Breath-stopping too.
I was walking with breathing difficulty but was listening to a vritham. I was hoping the vritham tempo will help me stabilize my heart rate so that chest pain will reduce. This episode notification popped in! Amnt I blessed? 😚
My personal opinion is the breath control and increasing the span is a part of nada yoga. The long notes of one and a half beats can be utilized cleverly. Every varnam nearly has one charanam swarm to train and demonstrate this. The comfort of the singer is more important, Breaking to breathe in between the talam without totally exhausting a breath helps too. Humbly

My father Sri TKRadhakridhnan flutist, practiced regularly from his young age, and that gave him the breath control to continue his recitals till the age of 75.. ua-cam.com/video/CTvL0-ZAhBU/v-deo.html This is a vintage record on kalyani ragam which explains the speed at which the swaras are played . No doubt , the technique of pranayamam was a tool for his success and a part of his routine .
@@SikkilOfficial you are a born genius like my father . I wish to add that this record was released when he was 19 years old .Palanivel Subramaniam Pillai on mridangam .
