1. You don’t ensure that your appearance is aligned with the standards required during your pilot interview
2. Making inaccurate assumptions about the interview team and their experience
3. Lack of preparation for your pilot assessment
4. Rehearsing pilot interview questions
5. You haven’t researched the airline you are applying to (ethos etc)
6. Delivering answers that are too long/rambling during your pilot interview
7. You deliver an overly embellished “Situation” during a competency-based answer for your pilot assessment
8. You go to pieces when you think you’ve messed up and answer and give up on your pilot interview
9. You don’t think of anything to ask the interviewers at the end of your interview
10. You just aren’t “yourself”

Not having a pulse would be aboutthe biggest disqualified these days...
Bruh I messed up on 2 technical questions, one of them where we agreed it was because the question was asked poorly and I had to wait another 5 days to answer 10 more technical questions :/ we’ll see how it goes on Monday (today is August 24th 2023)
