This is between the Russian War and the first great war??? Or even during the WWI. Somehow it might be linked to Yakuza series even being a new IP. (In the same world) it's really brave and better do this then a spin-off like "Ishin" which i love. Sega is taking the a big high-stake here. And even bigger if we remember thar Like a Dragon is now a global game who was twice in the game awards. Hope for a good game in this incredible set up

@ tbh Demon Slayer doesn’t do the Taisho Period enough justice. We didn’t see enough of the Western influences apart from the cities, fashion, and trolleys in the series. Additionally, we don’t get to hear about any news regarding the Japanese occupation of German colonial territory in the Pacific let alone the role it played in Siberia in support of the anti-communist White Russian Army. Then again I understand that it’s not the main focus of Demon Slayer.

Yup, that is totally Tojo Makoto, and we'll finally get to play as a protagonist, who ACTUALLY kills without remorse. Perhaps RGG realized that the founder of their legendary in-world Yakuza organization shouldn't be a "nice guy" (well, relatively speaking) like Kiryu. Anyway, I can't wait!
