I dont know if youre planning on doing more commentary on solo gameplay but i actually enjoyed this a lot. It was really interesting/useful to me hearing whats going through your head in a game.
this weapon is imo starting a new meta in open anarchy, atleast in tower. This weapon combined with splatana, range blaster and a close range slayer is such a nightmare to deal with. And i think it says enough that i see this weapon comp quite a bit.
I would suggest having a little more patience, making sure all your arrows are vertical when doing full charge vertical shots. Also try using half(or in wellstring’s case, 1 and 1/5th) charge vertical shots a little more. It makes it way easier to arc your shots behind cover. Half charge horizontals can be a little gimmicky when trying to arc them over cover.
I've been playing this as a break from my main for a while, it's a lot of fun. The assist farming is so funny, you get like 12 assists or more per game
personally, I use sub power up as a main and special power up usually the playstyle I opt for is passive aggressive staying back and marking for my team and if they push, I deny them space with spam.
What are your thoughts on vwell? After playing both non stop since launch I really feel like they are very equal with eachother and it really just depends on how you play/map and mode, curious to hear what you think?
I think its fine but the lack of support utility means it doesn't help as much to me. I like it more when I need to do more but with good comps I just have 2 midlines to enable and id rather give them more tools as well as less risk of dying bc hammer.

bows look so fun to play with but they are really difficult for me personally to 'get'. I really enjoy Wellstring in Salmon Run tho

I am curious why throw the Wave Breaker out in the open rather than behind a block, wall or other spot where it would be hard to see or destroy?
@ProChara 99% of splatoon 3s problems could be solved by good stages and functioning protection specials

Very strong Rainmaker weapon but like most other Hammer weapons you can just die on it. A tad more aggressive but still fine imo

I like to use charcoal more, but the problem is just the last few patches. It’s sub and special gotten Nerf.
They are so minimal as a nerf it doesn’t even matter
