Can't wait for part 2! I've been keeping away from make up reviews on YT as I haven't been able to buy make up in a while but when I saw your post I had to watch and I am ruined! The Suqqu collection - Part 1 - is so lovely and the purple leaning eye shadow palette has my name on it. The lipstick looks gorgeous too. And the brushes ... 🥰

Hi Lexi! You look great in these plum tones. The SUQQU eyeshadow palette and liquid eyeshadow are so pretty. I love these lavender shades, and I’m glad to see companies coming out with them. I checked my SUQQU eyeshadow palette from last year, number 126, and it’s more berry colored. I do love the iridescent lilac shade in that palette. This palette is much more neutral, with that plummy brown shade adding a cool touch to the taupe shadows. I also like the purple color of the lip shine on you. It’s such a flattering shade, and it looks like it gives such an even coverage on the lips.
The lipsticks are really awesome! I'm trying to decide how many to buy, lol.
The purple looks like it’s going to work on lots of different skin tones. I preordered the purple and #2, a. Pink.

Thanks for reviewing the Suqqu items so quickly! I am really excited to try the new lipstick formula. I will look forward to your swatches for shades. I am on a no buy for 6 more weeks so luckily these are permanent and I will not have to worry about them selling out. I had not realised the new eye shadow quad was so close to the 01, which I own!

Hi Lexi, I absolutely love the mauvey purple tones of the first part of this collection on you... stunning! That lipstick, the quad and that liquid e/s ...I could keep going on but you get where I'm going lol. Everything is just so much more beautiful in person and when applied. The dragon brushes...yesssss...more is more, haha! I received my Beautylish dragon brush and it's just so adorable...you can't go wrong with a purple and gold design on a black background. Wow, I absolutely love your Koyudo dragon brush...the handle colour, design and the brush head ...I can see why you want another bc you're making me want one too! Great overview! I’ve not made the move to try Suqqu yet, but I intend to in 2024. I’ve been really wowed by my Cle’dePeau eyeshadow palettes and their new lipstick formula. I’ve been wearing it daily! I do love the Hermes Prunoir! Thanks Lexi - your demos are so helpful and fun to watch! And congrats on getting this haul in PR - so well deserved!

I discovered Suqqu thanks to your videos. I have been picking things up when they go on sale. My favourites are a melting blush and the duochrome pallette from last year with the purple. I am interested in this pallette it looks very elevated everyday wear.

Hi Lexi, I was playing with the quad 01 and the Chanel winter glow quint, and the pink and brown/mauve in quad 01 is going beautifully with the monochrome shades of the Chanel quint. You may want to try it!

Thank you for the review. The lipstick 💄 is a beautiful shade. These lipstick seem to be well received as I have not heard any negative reviews so far. The liquid eyeshadow is also really pretty. I think if buy anything from this collection, it will be this and a lipstick. I did comment on another poster’s comment below regarding the eyeshadow compared to Visearts because those were may same thoughts when watching your video. Hi Lexi- have you seen the other eyeshadow quad yet? Will it be released alongside this pretty one, at the same time? I love how you show each shade separately on your lids and then do an overall look. Great job! I hope you’re feeling better. PS: that lipstick looks AMAZING- will have to pick up one of those!

I have been especially excited about the new lipstick formula. I want so many shades 😂😂😂 but I’m glad they are permanent so I can get a few to try and know I can always get more later!
But I also had this 134 quad and the 103 liquid shadow on my list for when they drop at Selfridges on Thursday! They work beautifully together!!

I’ve pre ordered both blushes and the LE eye liquid in the green. Do you think the eye palette is very similar to the Lilas palettes by Viseart? I also bought the dragon brush from Beautylish! It’s my first on their new year brushes; and I love all the details. I’m looking forward to testing it out with the blushes from Suqqu.
I think it is probably similar enough to Lilas. The biggest difference will be the shimmer colors but I think they are relatively close. I hope you enjoy the brush!
I can not wait to see your demos of the new lipstick range. Your colors are similar to mine, and I really don't know which colors to consider. I hope they are still in stock when I make up my mind with that additional information.
Me too! It is so hard to choose which shades to get.
Really pretty eye look, which is perfect for Spring. Also like the liquid eye colors and looking forward to trying the lip glazes. But - that blush. Just cannot commit to that orange/yellow undertone, which would likely look even more orangey on me. I think I passed on quite a few blushes last year because of the orange or brown tones. I’ll wait to hear what you think about the other blush in this collection before deciding to pass on the blushes completely. Thanks for the video - I really enjoyed seeing you create the various eye looks.

Did you wear the Moisture Glaze 05 in this video, right? I mean, when you talked.
I'm asking this because the color looks a bit different in the frame when you put it on the lips...so, I can't understand if it is the same color or not.
Yes, it's the same color. I think because of the high shine finish, the light reflection can make it look a little different from further away than up close.
Thanks SO much for the early look at the new Suqqu range, Lexi. You must get very bored hearing this but your reviews are incredibly comprehensive, intelligent and useful. I've found so many new products through you, not least because we share a skin tone/shade (I10 in Cle de Peau). Ive been a devotee of Suqqu for years too but...but... Im starting to lose that blind confidence that everything they do, however apparently challenging, is going to suit me and look sophisticated whatever the first impression of the product. For me the absolute peak was last summers collection but since then its been ..orange then glitter. Glitter in everything, and more than that, glitter that leaves fallout and looks OTT, on me at least. And remembering the glamour and gorgeousness of those duochromes last summer, thats such a disappointment. Is the glitter thing the new creative team or what? Where's the old clever subtlety? The new releases have always been auto buys and any Suqqu everyday nude quad would have had me camping outside Selfridges, but that white glitter shade reminds me of a shadow in an old Huda Beauty palette which is ...hmmm. At least the lipstick shade looks incredible! (Something thats always bemused me btw- do you know why the shade 'mauve' has been co-opted by the beauty industry to describe a sort of peachy browny pink? Isn't mauve meant to be purple? Did I hallucinate that?) Thanks anyway Lexi - that was invaluable!
You did not hallucinate that! I have the same definition of mauve as you. I always thought it was more of a plummy rosy shade with a touch of brown but definitely more purple than anything else. I'm so glad these are helpful!!

I’m definitely interested in the lipstick if they have color near pink and rosewood with a red hue, and the 103 eyeshadow. Love the purple shade!! I find this particular shade 05 lipstick is a bit too cool.
I think 06 might be a pretty shade too. Definitely looking at that one!

You were a major influence in my decision to try out Suqqu and I’ve bought a few pieces from the brand recently: the 20th Anniversary collection pink face palette and 3 of the melting blushes. So I’m liking the formulas. They Addiction Tokyo holiday palettes are just as nice but the color stories feel more appealing and seasonally versatile, IMO.
I love Mauve and purple tones so these were on my radar but seeing how they swatch on lighter skin tone it’s a pass for me. I have other things in my collection with similar tones so I’d rather wait for something from Suqqu and Addiction Tokyo that’s more unique and special. ❤

I only have a couple of them but actually just wore them today! They are really lovely but like other cream shadows, there is creasing. Gorgeous sheen though! I'm working on an addiction collection video soon!

Thanks, Lexi! What is the difference between blue fox and silver fox?
That is a very complicated subject because the term has become almost generic in some circles. Essentially they are different colors as the fox changes its coat during the season. Blue fox still has a grey and silver color further down the shaft but it isn't always noticeable if the bristles are shorter.
I really love the colors. I want the lip tho, but I have to decide , that or some of the new Sonia G. Brushes😂😂😂I can’t do it all. Sadly ❤I’ll prob do the brushes (Sonia ) These are gorgeous tho. I wish I could collect. I have to sop smart. Ugh. My wallet sucks 😢😂😂😂😂. The lip color is so pretty on you
Honestly, brushes are a better investment than cosmetics. I'm sure we all have plenty of cosmetics that we will not use up.

Hey Lexi I have a silly question! I got the 103 lid color from suqqu just today and mine is so dry like when I swipe it it takes a lot to get some color … was yours like this in the beginning when first opened ? :/
No, I haven't had that issue at all! I'm wondering if there are some batch issues going on with this collection. Someone had issues with their eyeshadow palette and my blue eyeshadow palette (review coming soon) was not as good as my other one either. There seems to be some inconsistencies but I am surprised the liquid luster eyes is pretty dry. I would reach out to them about it.

I've been waiting for this review. That lipstick is beautiful on you. I'll be trying one, at least. This blush isn't my color. I wonder what the other one will look like. As for the eye palette, how do these colors compare with the newest Viseart palettes (Vespertine and Cashmerie Charmeuse)? Also, have you tried the SUQQU gel eyeliner? Thanks for the video!💚
I can add some comparisons to part 2. I am trying out the eyeliner now. I wore it once and really like it but the shape is different than i expected. Think of taking a blade and swiping it at the top of the tube so it is a blunt tip.
I was wondering the same with regards to the Viseart palettes so will appreciate the comparisons. Also would like to know if the pink shimmer is close in comparison to the pink in the Prada palette with the green shade. Thank you so much for the review!

@@amyfrost5951 I have Stora Dolls and I really like it. I have so many palettes that I didn't Have to have that color story. And I don't need the others. But the finishes are nice. And you can get a great look with or without the topper. I Love the packaging. Actually, I'm surprised that they haven't brought out more colors. They would also do very well with a powder compact in that packaging I think.

I managed to buy the quad few days earlier and STAY AWAY. I am big big fun of Suqqu but this quad is is awful. £50 down the drain. ZERO pigmentation and patchy. Such a shame as I normally love they eyeshadows. but great review. thank you x

@@LexiJong i own at least suqqu 20 - 25 quads and the quality of this one is just not there, it is very pale and patchy. It barely shows up and I am pale as snow... lol . It doesn't compare to pre holiday palette (similar to this one). I am very disappointed. Even watching your review (btw great as always - I love your eye swatches) it looks patchy, I can barely see the colours. But I am glad you love it. For me it is BIG PASS. I wished I didn't spend my money on it
