It can be argued that since Ivanka was posting to her personal account and was not identifiably doing that stunt while at work and did not specifically invoke here position, that she did not violate ethics rules.
If ethics rules applied to the President (they don't), what DJT did would be a definite violation. The use of the office to put an official stamp of support on his Goya commercial would have been a clear ethics violation for every single federal employee under him.

I live in Melbourne, Australia, we were loosening restrictions when cases started going up again so are now back under level 3 restrictions, this means you've got four reasons to be out, either for work, if you can't work from home, shopping for essentials, exercise, or care giving. We had our highest day of new cases today, 317 and 2 more deaths. Most people are wearing masks in public, I do.
So I guess I don't understand some people living in a country where so many more are dead, in hospital, on ventilators, or at home sick, and yet it seems it's a fight for some people to actually do the right thing, where even mask wearing is political, serious? Don't you want to protect your community, your family?
I know we also have some of these people for sure but the people who want to do the right thing are more up there then those who don't.
