Hi Pete, that's awesome, a lot has changed in those last 5 years but I'm still using that same same wireless system for my band and solo gigs, still going strong!
I got mine a few days ago. Your review is the easiest to understand. Thanks for this! However, I was wondering if you have a preferred channel, like which one is the strongest. I can't seem to get a good distance before the sound starts to diminish. Thanks in advance for the reply. :)
Had it checked by one of my bandmates and he found that the cable I was using from the monitor channel to the transmitter was faulty. We also placed the transmitter where no metal or glass can block the sound it's sending. Got rid of the problem. :)
Nice video! I got the takstar wpm 100 system. the only thing that bothers me is that hissing and here and there a slight hum when listening. is that normal? Are there any solutions?
Hello mate , how u feel about the in ear monitor system after 4 years , 5 of us in our music band planing to buy wireless in ear monitor system , still looking for better one , if u can recommend any better it will really help
Hi mate. It's still going strong although (for obvious reasons) hasn't gigged since March 2020! It's been pretty sound though and used for a couple of festivals and bigger gigs no problems.. The odd drop out but nothing that's caused an issue at a gig. Had no breaks but I do take good care of them and store them well when transporting. I'd probably take a look on the Thomann site bud for something a bit more robust, they've got a really good range, a friend of mine uses a T Bone system and has been really happy with it.
A week ago I bought it to use it on my church mixer what a Behringer X32 is, I have a female Xlr cable and the other extreme trs balanced but when the takstar connect have a lot of noise
Perhaps I was just unlucky in receiving a defective item but my experience with the Takstar WPM-200 is that the quality is simply unacceptable. I tried different earphones and connected the Takstar to my sound interface using various configurations (all my other equipment is high-quality), but each time the result was the same: it's OK if there is no signal is coming in but as soon as I touch a key on one of my keyboards or start singing a note through the microphone, or even just play a song on Spotify, the device creates a loud noise resembling an ocean storm. As I said, I may have been unlucky and just happened to have received a defective device but after an intense day going onto forums and trying all sorts of setups, I decided to send it back to the online store.
Hi mate, I'm using the same system. I'm running the provided stereo cable out of the MON send on our desk to the transmitter but only hearing a mix in the left headphone of the IEM's... any solution? Thanks! Mark.
Jonny Goode Haha no sweat man. It's a mono aux send, anyway I can convert that feed to send a signal to both headphones to my In ears? I only have 1 AUX/MONITOR out on the desk
Flying Machines UK did you get a result to this? I have a similar issue and I think it can be remedied with a Mono to "Stereo" Adapter, which would split the mono feed to both ears, so not true stereo. Is this the route you took? Or what was your way around it?
Im thinking of just using a transmitter/reciever bluetooth dongle(for auxilary) and use them with my jabra elite wireless earphones or any wireless earphones.
Hi, im thinking of buying two sets of the transmitter and receiver since its much more expensive buying a receiver with 2 transmitters. My question is if i buy two sets, and just keep the other receiver as back up can i use the 2 transmitters to either receiver? A reply would be a great help, Thanks and great informative vide. :)
wow, that was fast thank you. In ebay the trans and receiver sets are about 45$ and the one set with 2 receivers are about 120$ so im going with 2 sets to save a couple of dollars. Thank you, you got my sub. :)
Hi, thanks for the review. I understand that one transmitter can transmit up to six receivers, so I want to buy receivers only, I've been searching around but I just can not find them, do you know where can I purchase the receivers only without the transmitter? Thanks.

How many receiver can the transmitter do??
Would a takstar receiver work with a gear 4 music transmitter?
Good question, I reckon it would.

Haven't had an issue with a live band but haven't used click tracks so can't say for sure

Do you know if there's much difference between WPM 100 and WPM 200? Thank you.
@@realhomestudioofficial Ok, thank you, and thank you for the review also, just ordered one.
@@lanzarotesteve so, what the difference?
Excelent Review! I would like to know the transmitter's power supply polarity? is the positive inside or outside the plug? Thank You!
Diego García the positive is inside

I have same experience😥
what frequencies does each channel sit at? if possible are you able to provide a list of all the channels and the frequencies?
thank you so much
Hey friend im using it, but at times the frequency just cut out and after a couple of seconds it come back. What can be the troubleshooting ?
Do you think it goes out of the frequency range ? I noticed that high frequency causes this very often.
by the way here you buy it ?
Cheers mate , thank you for your answer !
This was ultra-helpful - thank you!
Hi! How many receiver can work with one transmitter?
Jonny Goode cool. Thanks! Unluckily we only have to rely on online seller that sells 1:1.

How about if 5 body packs transmitter does it work fine?
Thnx bro for your kind informations! :)
Does the transmitter take a battery
no, mains only bud

Its stereo or only mono?
@@realhomestudioofficial 👍🤘

@@NikoSatiaNuryanto It's stereo. I've had mine for eight years and it still works perfectly.

These things are terrible. The sound quality is crap. They are not worth the money, in my view.
