If you would rather have everything which west has to offer, why the hell are you settled in India, you know why because you feel rich here and may be connected to your family. It's so easy to be enticed by your friend's life in bay area and undermine the importance of household support you get here. I really wish you get married and understand how important all these factors are in a once life. OfCourse, I would always want fresh air and traffic roads but that should not undermine how much India offers in terms of complete life experience.
Poor people used to leave their family and village and go work in cities far away. Now people go to West for the same reason. 😂😅😂😅 Only rich can afford to live comfortably in their own land happily with their family! ❤❤❤❤
😂😂 bro you just need to visit a police station and court house you will understand this country is in shambles, the politicians will be the ruin of this country and so will be the stupid people
Bad thing is our next generation will say the same thing about us and mutual funds. When they are probably thinking of getting rich from crypto or something else.
One of my relative have 1 crore in FD. I told him in 2020. Just invest it in index mutual fund. But he said. Mutual fund Wale to bhaj jaate h. That's the financial education of ordinary Indians have. If he invested in index fund. What would be the 1 crore become now.
Synonym for information age is the age of conspiracies. Skepticism and being stoic is what necessary for exceptional progress in these times. Thank you for the video.
I can agree on his comment on buying/building a house, simply because it's simple to get a house but it's difficult to maintain it. I kind of relate with his house story a bit.
Bro you need to stay abroad for 8-10 years to understand the argument of why people want to come back to India. 8-10 years is a honeymoon period. As a casual visitior you will think that why these NRIs are crying always, But you know when you know. Sharan has strong opinions about everything too early at his age.
I have my parent's relatives who are settled abroad. None of them cry, infact they encourage about the oppurtunities available there. My real brother went abroad, and is never been more stable in his life. Ofcourse, there are hardships everywhere in the world. Like when he was here, all his chores were handled by my mother and maid. Now, he do himself. And that's the perception of rich in our country, that blue collar jobs are for poor people. But, for him, he adapts and overall, now he is more happy there.
Bro .. they both are kids, below 30 I guess… may be very little Kids or no. I am 40+… gets tired of doing chores on repetitive basis every day/week/ month. In fact, both these kids are still living India with 4 maids for home.
Two rich people talking about middle class problems 😂😂 all their talks are generic in nature. Sharan only makes relevance in shorts back then, not in long videos and podcast. Wasted my time here
I said so bcoz the way sharan is selling his recorded courses filled with knowledge that each and every fin-influencer says in his videos. I don't hate rich, but the way they become rich. And its democracy, have guts to listen +ve and -ve side
Better to renovate parents house or pustaini makan, than buying a new house. You need to have a place to return to if times are low. Two siblings? Make a two floors above the already existing one in parents' house. Renovate it. Live there. Even families can live together. Have separate kitchen and what not. It's two house in one.
He is very correct! Indians cannot accept it if they see you ahead in life and making money. I left India in 2021 and I have been making money and running companies in India since 2008 and running 50+ families in india since a decade now. The day since I moved to Dubai in 2021, I feel the circle is so different. My Dubai friends love to talk about money and investments and achievements and we all try to lift each other to millions without any competition or hate. This is the difference! I have always tried to make a change in my videos to my audience to get over this hate culture since 2008, but hardly anyone gets it. All this issue is due to the jobless kids and keyboard warriors using cheap internet!
Dubai and India are indeed different in many ways, from cultural dynamics to economic opportunities. Dubai's environment, with its strong focus on investment, business growth, and a diverse expat community, often fosters a collaborative and achievement-oriented mindset. People there, particularly in business circles, may be more inclined to support and uplift each other due to shared ambitions in a growing economy with fewer bureaucratic hurdles. However, this doesn’t mean there’s a one-size-fits-all situation. India's vast diversity, with its different social, economic, and cultural contexts, leads to a variety of experiences. Many Indians are also driven by entrepreneurship and innovation, contributing significantly to the global economy. What may be perceived as jealousy or negativity in certain circles could stem from a more complex set of socio-economic challenges, where opportunities and resources are unevenly distributed. While it's true that some may display jealousy, it's a human trait seen worldwide, not just in India. The notion of "jobless kids" and "keyboard warriors" reflects frustrations in many societies, especially with the rise of social media. But generalizing this as an issue specific to India overlooks the broader global context. Every country has its challenges, and lifting each other up, as you’ve experienced in Dubai, is a mindset that can thrive anywhere, given the right conditions and attitudes.
I think the tax structure also plays a role. Since there is no way to tax and take away wealth of smart / rich ppl, normal ppl dont hate the rich. Same in india where Brahmins are hated - caaste reservations have to be kept relevant for college seats and govt jobs / promotions.
San Francisco has lot of homeless people, crime rate also high. To stay in bay area is very costly and to stay far from bay area is inconvenient as there are traffic problems in sfo as well. To take public transport when staying far from bay area also is very costly....
there is fact which no one talk about. everything needs it own time. First gen took care about food and shelter. second gen took care about sustainability and make there child/family to get educated or for better life. 3rd/4rth generation comes in picture give gyan all over. It`s all depends upon current capacity/opportunity/availabilty.
I don't think if somone stops 1 year sip payment will loose the end return , the trick is he/she should just make a lumpsum payment of a year+1 month more when a bonus or when they can invest , this will cover the paused /lapsed sip payments .Please just don't say people will lose and this is a mistake people do, but also let them know how to cover it or a solution to fix it.

Getting rich, millionaire, and philospher has become easier in this era. All thanks to the internet. Us liking millionaires or not depends on how that money is earned. I do not completely agree with Sharan about "buying a house". I agree that buying a house in the urban centres which are completely developed is a mistake. You should not pay 10000 rupees or more per square feet and buy a house or an apartment. What I would suggest folks is to buy a house just in the outskirts, that is like 2-3 KM from the city limits, which are technically part of the city but not quite developed enough with malls and restaurants but has the scope to develop in the next 5-10 years. Here the price would be reasonable that is less than 5000 rupees per square feet. I have bought a 3 bhk apartment at less than 4000 rupees per square feet and I have two metro stations and a train station in less than 2 km from my home and this apartment is situated on the main road which is a 40ft road. This place will appreciate with time but he is right, that part does not matter because I am not going to sell it. But in 10-15 years I would not need to worry about the roof on my head.
Wait to get 42-45 yrs yrs old living outside… with elder kids. Pata lag jaayega. To do big things you need to delegate your tasks to servants and earn time to think ahead. Building or buying house can be done wisely
If you buy double storied house, you can rent the first floor and pay EMI for entire house
Terrible idea as rental rates are lower than loan lates…… you will still need to pay extra money from your own pocket
