To be fair when our European football sides go to USA for pre season tours they use their youth players and the big names come on for 15 minutes or so.
On behalf of world rugby, NFL is a kind of a rip off of rugby its basically rugby with crash helmets on.
Nobody watched rugby. It's so unpopular compared to NFL football

I was at this game and the game between the Lions and Chiefs this Sunday just gone. Now I am a massive fan of football (soccer), but I have to say that you cannot beat the atmosphere of an NFL game! It's simply awesome!
