Thank you for this video. ( Im a year behind 🙈) We were pit off by the comments about MSC but you have changed my mind and we are going to look at MSC . Our first was Iona 😊. Love your videos x
Thank you again for your very interesting vlog on the plus side of MSC cruises. I believe that the content you have provided to all is very accurate and I totally agree with your opinions. I think that you covered most aspects of the Virtuosa including the fact that the Opera/Ballet is the only cruise line that provides this entertainment and was extremely good. We cannot wait to see more from your next cruise adventures. Keep up the great work that you are doing, with much love, Ann and Mike (Blackpool!!)🥰
Thank you for this video. We will be on the Meraviglia next Saturday. April 22. Got a really great deal (compared to the other cruise lines), so we will be in the Yacht Club. First time with MSC.
Thanks for this video! We're new to cruising and have only gone with P&O so far. We did Iona in October last year and we're on Arvia in June. MSC is definitely one to consider.
Cruised many times with various lines, including twice on Virtuosa last year. Definitely agree that there are lots of positives, people need to go with an open mind and remember that they are usually significantly cheaper so some things will be different, I thought the food quality wasn’t so good as cruises. Really enjoyed my MSC cruises overall and was glad that I hadn’t been put off.
Great video! I took my 3 teen/young adult sons on the MSC Meraviglia in February and we loved it! Ocean Cay is amazing, wish I could share pictures. It is just an oasis! As Americans we did have to pay gratuities, but the cruise was so cheap, it was ok. Kids loved the fun pass too. I was so excited when you put out your MSC Seaview series as I had just booked a similar cruise. My husband is joining us and we are sailing on the Seaview out of Barcelona next April. Again, you just can’t beat the price, it is a great way to see several places on one trip. Thanks for giving MSC a little love, I was very nervous before we went because of all the negative reviews. I think a cruise is what you make of it! I’m happy that someone is cooking, cleaning, and entertaining me everyday… that I get to explore new ports each day is icing on the cake!
Great point of view on things 😁 love it. Thanks for letting us know about the fact you have to pay gratuities in the US we didn't realise this. Strange how you don't for Europe. Hope you have an amazing time on the Seaview
Thanks for another great video! We are so looking forward to taking our kids on MSC Seaview this summer. The price for the kids was almost free, which helps us to sail in a balcony.
Ye MSC have some great deals for kids we were shocked when we looked into it. The seaview is a great ship, make sure you try the zipline its so much fun
97 days before our virtuosa med cruise. We found MSC great value for money compared to our normal family package holiday. Love your vlogs they full of great informative content thanks guys 😊
We enjoyed all your cruise series Kev and Stacey and it sounds like you always found a great price! Always looked like a great time and some delicious food. Love the scenery in your first one! Exciting ports in the others. It also sounds like a good idea that people can get on and off at the various ports as it not only is great that the folks are closer, but should make it a smaller and quicker wait for boarding and disembarking with less people doing it at any one time. I think some folks are just too fussy. They want to pay a budget price and live the "High End" life. Since we're on the road so much we pay for moderate motels but don't come out to badly. Certainly don't expect the "Four Seasons" when we arrive! Looking forward to seeing more of your cruises. Especial Alaska!
Hi Dave and Kathy, thanks so much for watching as always. Hope your having a great time on the road. We will catch up when off the ship and back at home. Happy Easter to you both 😊
Yes definitely, maybe not anytime soon as we want to try different MSC ships and also different companies but we hope to be back on one day in the future. Hope you have a brilliant time
As a family of four we appreciate an MSC cruise. The price is great and there is so much to do. About to sail with virtuosa for the second time. Yes it will be busy but it holds 6000 people so you have to expect that! Food is great for families for the price. The Kids love the pizza made in front of you. Without having the kids sail for a good price then we probably wouldn't be able to afford a holiday. Great video both. Take care and enjoy your Britannia cruise.😊
I think you did a great job bringing up everything. I have seen a person with a negative review on MSC but I didn’t think it rated such a harsh review. One thing shouldn’t ruin the whole trip. I loved everything you showed, and the food looked good to me. I checked their website and they only had one near me out of San Francisco and it was Feb 23. I hope they do more from here.
Hi Leslie and thanks so much. And yes we try to have an open and positive mind and like you said sometimes people let minor issues ruin their whole trip. Seems like a waste to us. We will definitely say when we're not happy with something but Try to move on unless it's a major issue of course 😁👍
Hi Kevin, Stacy, would you ever try the yacht club on MSC cruises. I heard that in the yacht club you can get an inside cabin and still have all the amenities of the yacht club. The cabin would probably be a lot cheaper than having a balcony cabin, but you are still in that suite environment and get all the amenities.
@@OneCouplesAdventure hello again, I think you should give the yacht club a try. I’ve come across several videos on UA-cam and people say it’s a very relaxing environment. No one is wearing a suit and tie everywhere. I imagine it is more like business casual. You might come across the odd snooty posh person but for the most part I think it’s just regular people like you guys. Please check out some UA-cam videos on the yacht club and you might change your mind. I would really like to see a video of your experience in the yacht club. Cheers.
We loved MSC Virtuosa in February. It was our first ever cruise despite having 2 others booked with P&O for this year, so much so, on day 3 we booked for MSC Euribia next February. Hoping to do an MSC Caribbean cruise sometime as we really liked the brand. Britannia next for us in July then Arvia November.
You've got some great cruises planned, all sounds amazing 😁. We would love to try the Euribia at some point and definitely want to try a Caribbean cruise 😁
I agree with your summary, they are not perfect but overall, every time I get off MSC I can’t wait to get back on again. I can’t say the same for some other lines.
Hi guys did you take cans of pop on your msc trips? We only drink pop too and would like to have some in our cabin, I know some people say its not allowed but I'm sure you guys did? Correct me if I'm wrong. Just wondering if it's worth taking them then if they say nit allowed it is what it is only a few cans of pop lost
I've had 12 cruises with Marella, but I found their solo prices were too high, so I tried P&O Ventura. I'm now trying the MSC Virtuoso to look for something in between- the P&O was comfortable, but I found the included food was limited and the overall experience was a little too formal for me. I'm going in with an open mind, but at least I got a cheap price and included drinks.
Amazing ships, food and service. Pretty cheap last minute deals. Drinks package excellent. Easiest embarkation out there. They do like a up sell but it seems like all lines are doing that now. The biggest complaint against them seems to be having announcements in 4 different languages. It’s probably just as annoying to Italians or French having to hear it in English! You’ll get used to it. There is a party going on nearly every night so it can be tiring if you chose to partake in everything. One negative for sure is no launderette so buy a washing package before you board for 2 week cruises. We loved MSC and we were sceptical before boarding but was happy to be proved wrong.
It’s not a bad cruise line. priced low and a lovely ship. Did Virtuosa but wasn’t great for us and we wouldn’t go back with them. Did Caribbean on P&O Britannia last month again not perfect but better for us.
Yes we can't really complain for the price we have paid to cruise with MSC. We will definitely sail with them again but looking forward to trying other cruise lines also
Nothing wrong with MSC especially new ships for the price I've got NHS discount, free drinks package and free upgrade to deluxe cabin on deck 5 I'm made up on Virtuosa they are made for me glamorous ships 🚢 ❤
Back on the Virtuosa for the 2nd time, as a Birthday treat, on July 1st. Just hope that this time they don't damage my luggage beyond repair. Booked an outside Cabin this time on Deck 8, rather than an inside one. Really looking forward to it for some perverse reason 😅. Despite having some niggles with them I wouldn't put anyone off Cruising with MSC.
I just booked Virtuosa again, really good experience last time and MSC works for me. Great video.
Thank you for this video. ( Im a year behind 🙈) We were pit off by the comments about MSC but you have changed my mind and we are going to look at MSC . Our first was Iona 😊. Love your videos x
Thanks so much Sarah 😁
Hi there, another fantastic video like always very interesting to watch and to listen to a very interesting. Keep up the good work
Great review of msc ,go on virtuosa next week for the first time , really looking forward to it 😀

Yes agree about the food. We thought the buffet was one of the best we have had on the Virtuosa but prefer the MDR food on P&O

Very beautiful images of the cruise!

We are back on the virtuosa for our 5th in may we also love msc. Even tho we are also trying out p&o arvia this year too .

Absolutely agree msc are wonderful the staff are brilliant easily the most friendly service i have ever had anywhere.
Absolutely Craig 😁

Hi, it's not something we have thought of although it does look lovely. We're not used to the finer things in life lol so we might be out of place 🤣

Yes we definitely agree Mark 👍
Would love to do one of the around the world cruises, maybe one day
We are going on our first MSC cruise in june from Germany to the Norwegen fjords on the MSC Euribia so we are really looking forword to that .
Sounds amazing, the Euribia looks a great ship, we would love to get on it one day
Brilliant Video.
Thanks Liz
We are going on our first MSc cruise in September hopefully we will have a nice time

Hi yes like you said you lose a few pounds if they take them off you
I'm doing Iona in June and Virtuosa in October and I'm really interested to compare the two experiences.
Incase you haven't seen it we have a video comparing the two lol. Might help you out a bit comparing them
Did both Ships in a a 5 month period & the Virtuosa wins it for me. Iona was just very bland imho.
I've had 12 cruises with Marella, but I found their solo prices were too high, so I tried P&O Ventura. Hi Paul hope you have a great time and like you said worth a try for what it has cost 👍 they've got some great deals at the moment

26th sept for me xx. Virtuosa again.
😁
Nothing wrong with MSC especially new ships for the price I've got NHS discount, free drinks package and free upgrade to deluxe cabin on deck 5 I'm made up on Virtuosa they are made for me glamorous ships 🚢 ❤
So glad you love them also and so glad to hear about the NHS discount, well deserved for all entitled to it 😁
We loved MSC. We did PO after, just to see if it was worth the extra money. I’m not sure it was. And… pizza. You can’t beat it!
Haha yes Katie that pizza is amazing 😍
Back on the Virtuosa for the 2nd time, as a Birthday treat, on July 1st. Just hope that this time they don't damage my luggage beyond repair. Have a great time, not good about the luggage! Fingers crossed for you that doesn't happen again 😁
