Its good to have michael wesley there to show that the education industry is primarily focused on market outcomes and investor returns rather than maximising the benefits of education.

Excellent presentation by both. I hope the parties will consider these. Once the reputation and risks are given to overseas prospective students it will be extremely difficult to turn back that trend.

Finally, an election on migration. Australians and migrants alike who live here overwhelmingly vote against againt large mass migration programs, but neither party does anything about it....Even a QandA poll respond 60% in favour of dialing back migration to take the pressure of housing.

simple question: how does immigration influence the housing crisis? Please explain how, even if no new immigrants came to Australia, the labor market would need new workers to replace those retiring each year. Additionally, these new workers would need housing, while retirees continue to live in their homes for longer periods. How would you ensure enough housing for young Australians without building new accommodations, instead of relying on elderly people passing away at a certain age? Do you really think that reducing immigration will simply solve all the crises, such as housing, pricing, and everything else? Is it that simple?so naïvely absurd

Govt can easily incentivise young Australians to marry and start families and have more children if it wants to, easily, so why dont they?

as you wish, you'd better ask the youngs why not.

Yet another "balanced" presentation from the NPC. Why is an Australia of 35 million better than an Australia of 25 million? That's like saying a family with 4 children is naturally more virtuous than a family with 3 children. Aren't we meant to be all about sustainability and ecological balance these days? Meanwhile, asking a Uni Chancellor if he has too many international students is like asking Ronald McDonald if he's making too many hamburgers.

You can ask people to never grow old, never retire, and keep working in the labor market for as long as possible. And don't die until you've retired, otherwise, they will consume all the medical resources, housing, and everything else. Australia doesn’t need young people; aging is a zero issue here. Young man, come back to the real world!
