The funny thing is that randomly the 500 and 005 ice towers gain the ability to pop white bloons, so you actually have 3 towers capable of popping white but they're all at the start of the track. There's no in-game indication that the top and bottom t5 towers gain white popping, they just do. And I don't mean that the icicles that attach to the bloons can pop white, that happens from t4. The icicle impale tower just pops whites in general.

It has some gimmicks and is a bit shorter than other intermediate maps, but I do agree. This is way easier than covered gardens. The buffs, the statue's stun, the fact that you can choose which path you want to defend, this map is too easy for advanced. This is in the same difficulty tier as x-factor and mesa according to the game.

If the bottom ranged tower had Icicles, and you had an 0-4-2 down there as well (for delay), I think you'd have an easier time with sneaky bloons going through and be able to save more abilities. What an 0-4-2 or 0-5-2 gives you at the end of the track is TIME more than popping power, it can stall things out really well.
You might not want to make this your sole learning. This is great for familiarity, but not expert technique. I'm not dissing SJB, he hits well above the average weight class, but he also chokes on mortar micro, ice monkey stacking, stuff like that.
Middle path super brittle is so bad. Super brittle doesn't care about attack speed, he's all about radius so he can debuf bloons as soon as possible. On top of that, he can pop everything in the game except frozen bloons unless he had bottom path, at which point he has no weaknesses and can even remove lead protection from DDTs (as well as camo). You can see him failing to hit the DDTs if they are hit by the other towers because chris got the middle path instead of bottom.
In this situation it is bad, however if you aren't pairing super brittle/embrittlement it is the preferred crosspath, as in the late game that tiny bit of range doesn't matter much if at all, and it can still hit bloons that it has previously hit. If you aren't pairing it with more ice, 520 (or 510 since the upgrade really doesn't do too much outside of early game) is preferred crosspath.

@ It happens like 0.25 seconds sooner, but on many of the harder maps with range you just simply don't attack fast enough to even hit all of them. I try not to base my opinions too much on what I see on youtube, and instead on my own testing and experience, but watch almost any high level play using embrittlement or super brittle. It's almost always the 410 or 510. Attack speed also means you can hit more things if you are near the pierce cap (this definitely matters more for the embrit, as super brittle's pierce is high enough to not be relevant until past round 100 on chimps). Attack speed is just consistency, bottom crosspath is better for use alongside other ice towers or popsiedon (then again, who uses popsiedon after they gutted it)

The only thing it will struggle to hit is ceramics and maybe DDTs, but that's more pre-buff. It shoots fast enough now IMO that it hardly misses. It probably depends on positioning too.

So I feel like you discount Ezili a bit too much, especially with this map. You can do an Ezili start and save up to $450 or so by putting her on the bottom left circle on chimps. Not an insane start or anything, but she can help with big bloons that sneak through late game and can start enough for some cheaper towers. Might be worth it for certain chimps++ challenges

This map should be intermediate because of the buffs, but it's also a generally pretty intuitive and easy layout.
