Thanks Sean, Ivan Toney would not only gives us goals but he also gives us Sh1thousery and nouse up front. We are a bit too nice! Archie grey may have potential but the money is mad! Hopefully go early with a couple of big signings. Fingers crossed
Eze and Iling-Junior are both wrong for us… personally feel Michael Olise with Ivan Toney would make us much stronger. Still having difficulty digesting the Timo Werner signing
I think Tony & Eze make a lot of sense at fair prices and they could transform our team & obviously increase competition for places!! I’d be delighted if we got those two. Ange will figure out how & where to use them, job done!! COYS
Whats your problem in England with young players, Messi at 19 was star at Barcelona! 50 million for top young talent now days is absolutly normal! 50 on Gray-40 on Toney,60 on Eze this is 150 milllion.
i thougth the same with Olise. Fills a hole, prefer him to Eze to be honest, he does the basics so well, can ping. a ball too. Move Deki on and get him in!
We will have many more games next season and sales will leave us thinner. Eze crucial as after Maddison injury we struggled. Ditto Richie / Toney. I would prefer Mbeumo or Isak
Too expensive is Master grey ….. Eze and Sokanke !! ….then whoever comes through the door …not bothered as we have a fab defensive unit !! We’ve got Phillips !!….he has got to be in the. Conversation!! Toney …….naaaaaaaa…..too much baggage!! Yep no 6 but ??? 💰?? Nice chatter Bottom line ….for me ….sokanke ….Gallagher then do your Grey stuff if Joe is a go ….its balanced
Sean, the major problem is that we need three players to cover what Harry Kane did. Deadly striker, super header at both ends of pitch, fabulous passer.
It is patently obvious Toney has ingrained faults and signing him on mega money with a long term contract is imo. inviting trouble . Spurs already have enough players on their books that do not and will never contribute. So unless clauses in his contract take these things into account I wouldn't pay 10 mil for him .
We could loan the 18yr old leeds lad for the season?? It saves money to spend in other areas. We can see how he takes to the prem. If hes no good then we dont sign him at end of loan deal.

Adding Eze ,Gray ,Gallagher ,Branthwaite and a Striker (Ferguson was and still is a hope ,unless his injury is restricting) fills holes, that will catapult the squad on ,if untenable ,then maybe so are the ambitions of the Glory that maters ,silverware on a regular basis ? Adding the youngsters like Ethan Mbappe and Jobe Bellingham to the 'Golden Generation' upcoming, will be pie in the sky, if unable to start showing the mens senior team as regular winners, and consistent contenders? The 4 club trained players named in the squad is the only real sticking point ,if the sales of Spense, Emerson, Lo Celso, Hojbjerg and Rodon can't make up the majority of the transfers shortfall, then some youngsters like Scarlett, Divine, Skipp, Parrott and Veliz are going to have to be added to sale mix, if Ange cannot get them into his squad ?
I agree with you on Eze. The fans want it to happen so badly that they're not thinking about other positions that need to be filled first. A striker and 6 are much higher needs, imo, than another 10. Even if I think Maddison has been a waste of money thus far.
NevOakes....Cape Town.....If we could being Gareth Bale back, why not Luca Modric...Seen him play against Portugal today, bossed that midfield...rolled back the years....His class for sure....Still moves like his still in his twenties....His experience speaks volumes.…..He proves it over and over again....Serial Champions League winner...
@sean, I would like you to answer just this one question as it pertains to release clauses. If a player has one, and a club is pursuing said player. What is there to have a protracted negotiation on the release. I understand with Eze as reported that not only does he have that clause, but also a gentleman' agreement that Palace will let him go should a club approach the asking price. If you can address that, I will appreciate it. Baked in the fact Haaland who was way more valuable at the time, City activated his classe, and the club could not do anything about it. And if you may, add Olise because I think Palace recalled him after his release was matched, but found a loophole, and renegotiate to reset said release clause.
Depends on the detail of the clause. Some clauses require payment in full up front. So if the buying team want to get it done fast they have to trigger the clause and pay 100% of the fee up front. Which is horrendous for the uying clubs cash flow and ffp amortisation. So most clubs will approach the selling club and say we will pay the fee but can we negotiate on the structure of the payments. 50% up front rest in instalments or like a normal deal where you pay it off over the life of the contract etc which is why the clubs can negotiate for a while. With Olise, Chelsea triggered it but the player decided to stay and sign a new contract with Palace instead.
I appreciate it. I had an idea those were the steps which leads me to fans lack of knowledge about deals, and while Levy and Co can be blamed in instances, making deals are not like buying a loaf of bread more like buying a house with a mortgage. Keep up the good work, and be mindful of your worldwide audience, time zones and all other factors. Let me throw this in. Don't pay much attention to the noise and those that takes this youtube thing so person gera vitrolic and toxic, and I must agree with you or disagree instead of processing the information that are coming from all angles fast and furious. I will not get into names but you know the suspects. Enjoy the Saturday and a better hair day.
I’m all for ready made players but in this case I think we should sign Gray. The DM market is pretty bare at the moment, unless we’re going to spend £60-70M on Ezequiel Palacios then the best bet is to go with a guy who in future years will be one of the best in the world in that role, rather than spend £40-£50M on a ‘ready-made’ average player
I'd rather we spent the money on Gray than Toney, I don't really want a player of questionable character who let his club and team mates down because of an addiction to gambling and who might revert again who knows and at 28 that would pretty much see him finished if caught. As far as I understand it Gray is a midfielder first and foremost but got into the team covering the rb role which he did well. He has huge potential and at 18 and ticking the hg box we'd be foolish to let him slip through our fingers at a point where having Joe Rodon to put in part might give us the edge. We could even sweeten the deal further loaning one of our bright academy players on loan I've said it enough times that I don't think one dedicated DM would fit the bill anyway, I'd rather 2 CDM's with the all round ability to be the defensive and central midfield and I'd be over the moon if we could get Gray and Hackney to fill those roles. Championship yes not PL but that's not an easy league and these players have got so much quality in their game. We bably missed out on Wharton because we thought we could wait till summer, we failed to get the likes of Eze and Maddison years earlier when we watched and didn't act Get Gray Hackney and Eze in now and then lets fill other areas as offload and add money to the pot. Sure we need a top striker but we need to massively improve the defensive coverage too and if there's a chance we should be there
Ederson, gallagher, and eze would be a top midfield. Not going to get all three of them, though. Maybe Gray is more realistic but he's more for the future.
Hey Sean love the show. ! As in my understanding Ange wants guys that want to be a spurs. Do you know of players we need and that really want to be at spurs?
I want Toney. Premier league proven, great hold up play, good playmaker from deep, good finisher, great penalty taker. If they're making the bid, Ange is for it already!
I'd like to see Ivan Toney. He is a scrapper and a proven goal scorer. From what we have seen from him at Brentford he always gives 100%. If Ange thinks he fits then go get him, he is still in his prime and has got something to prove.
True devils advocate Sean! But I believe he is going to be a great player for us and we played 60+ Ml for Richarlison and he has proved to be some what of a Dud!’
30 mil+ Rodoj is a steal. I only want intentional signings this summer. We have an extremely bloated squad and 5th place. I don’t want any more “gambles”
Do we know the budget? I have yet to hear a realistic assessment of what we will do in this window. We have too many players to move on, and the players we are often being linked with don’t represent enough of an upgrade (Eze aside) for the money, we will buy maybe 2 players folks, stop pretending we are going to ship out 9 players and buy 4-6, not going to happen
No to Gray Yes to Leo Black from our academy, Vanderson or Estobelle(Irish rgt back playing inSeria A) who will not directly block Leo as we have to succession plan each position
Will Gray just become another Clarke / Gil if he comes to Spurs? Dont get me wrong. I want more young players but they have to start bringing more thru. Donnely and Parrott should be integrated this season or i can see them getting itchy feet #COYS
Archie Gray don’t know him but sounds good…but we can’t say why did we not see Wharton or Eze in Championship and not go for Archie Gray!?!?? Vanderson another Royal

I think it’s kind of crazy that people assume Maddison keeps his spot and Eze has to play somewhere else unless Maddison isn’t cutting it or gets hurt. Why wouldn’t Eze get the 10? Just me wondering
Sean I like your show. I am a spurs fan from Kampala Uganda.
Mate forget the players that Barnet rather than the cap has taken years off you😉😂 Toney is an upgrade on Richy imo.
i thougth the same with Olise. Fills a hole, prefer him to Eze to be honest, he does the basics so well, can ping. a ball too. Move Deki on and get him in!
i just like ur videos,u make me understand more about some certains about the club💪
Glad you like them!
Nice chatter
Bottom line ….for me ….sokanke ….Gallagher then do your Grey stuff if Joe is a go ….its balanced
I really can’t see Toney going for 40 million. If Levy is serious, he should offer 50 and try to close the deal quickly.
People must think Ange is a liar or something. He says very clearly character is a big part of recruitment decisions. Toney isn’t happening.
We could loan the 18yr old leeds lad for the season?? It saves money to spend in other areas. We can see how he takes to the prem. If hes no good then we dont sign him at end of loan deal.
What's stopping us to sign Giminez besides being heavily interested?? Pls do tell..
If Eze is more consistent than Madison get him, we need players that perform week in week out and I just don't think Madisson is all that never did
eze, toney, gray(50m haha), left sided cd and a top no 6 please
We must keep our expectations low remember we are talking about Levy here. Levy won't pay £68m for Eze that's too much for him.
E-X-A-C-T-L-Y
But he did pay 60 million for Richy. That was him right?😮
@@user-lt4px7ld4u there’s rhyme or reason with what Levy does in the transfer market though…..low balling and missing out on the on the most needed players and breaking the club transfer record on players that aren’t top quality…
Is Richi a £60M + player? Eze is….lets see what Levy does with regards a player we know would improve the quality of the team…..
Sean, put a little gel on your hair as it’s all over the place buddy 😂
I will click the like button, if you tell me where you are😊. Looks like a great area. Eze and Gimenez in and I'm happy
Surrey, UK
@@SpursTalkShow Thanks. Great episode. I agree with you on not getting a bargain striker just to get Eze. Top striker and a winger with more pace than Kulu would be preferred
Sean.. thankyou thankyou thankyou for what you said about Eze.. great player but he isnt an 8 or a winger in our system, and then if he plays 10 him and maddison is competing for 1 position! We should be going for Olise!!! Kulu is not a winger in this system and for me Johnson is not a starter
What happened to yuma suzuki?
20 mil plus rodon and maybe a 5% sell on if we REALLY think gray is worth this? Eze needs doing, just once pay the release fee and excite the fans.
Is Connor Gallagher is really worth paying that much to bring in when we have Sarr & Bentancur?
Wouldnt it be better to invest in 6 role?
Get gray roll the dice look how Wharton has done for place when given the chance… agree 50m too much… but 30m and rodan is good business
Yes get Toney in he has the right pedigree
Eza Tony would love them both Sean, Maddison will come back strange next season i am convinced mate.
God bless Seany 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Spurs must take advantage of this moment...many teams can't make deals until later on.
Big Ange would turn Tony around, he would be so good in our system!
Any word on Santiago gimenez
We could even sweeten the deal further loaning one of our bright academy players on loan
I've said it enough times that I don't think one dedicated DM would fit the bill anyway, I'd rather 2 CDM's with the all round ability to be the defensive and central midfield and I'd be over the moon if we could get Gray and Hackney to fill those roles. Championship yes not PL but that's not an easy league and these players have got so much quality in their game.
We bably missed out on Wharton because we thought we could wait till summer, we failed to get the likes of Eze and Maddison years earlier when we watched and didn't act
Get Gray Hackney and Eze in now and then lets fill other areas as offload and add money to the pot.
Always great content Sean
30 mil+ Rodoj is a steal. I only want intentional signings this summer. We have an extremely bloated squad and 5th place. I don’t want any more “gambles”
I'll sort my like game, if you sort your mic game Seano!! Always with the excuses🤣🤣🤣
Dunno about anyone else, but I smash the like button. Before I’ve even watched the video. Never been let down!!
The top priorities, as I see it, are: Eze, Eze, Eze, and Eze.
subbed instantly
Could look at it as 25 mil per position.
It’s generally around £150ml per summer.
No to Gray Yes to Leo Black from our academy, Vanderson or Estobelle(Irish rgt back playing inSeria A) who will not directly block Leo as we have to succession plan each position
50MIL FOR GRAY! 😮 I absolutely love Archie but that's alot for him ..
Eze is the one to prioritise for me😊
Will Gray just become another Clarke / Gil if he comes to Spurs? Dont get me wrong. I want more young players but they have to start bringing more thru. Donnely and Parrott should be integrated this season or i can see them getting itchy feet #COYS
Archie Gray don’t know him but sounds good…but we can’t say why did we not see Wharton or Eze in Championship and not go for Archie Gray!?!??
Vanderson another Royal
How do you plAY Eze and Maddison together? Who plays their weaker position?
Whoever is in form gets the game i guess.Ange wants a strong squad rather than just a strong team
Don't think we are going to sign another winger unless kul goes left son temo right kul brenden
