- Everyone rags on the poor Heavy for being way too boring to play, and not having enough alternate playstyles. I say that's a load of crap - Heavy can play as every single class in the game, and I'm going to prove it.
This episode is an easy one, as Fat Scout has been a relatively popular subclass for a while now. But since we're doing every class in the game, I guess we had to start somewhere.

Also for Pyro Heavy can use shotgun and any melee
For spy sound could pretend to be a hoovy but have a pan melee for the random crits/ the prinny machete because it's a knife, or use the holiday punch and pootis pow taunt

I used to try to main Fat Scout. Hell I used to to try to get into Highlander teams as Fat scout. Nobody loved me as a fat scout main I was ridiculed for thinking that the heavy could play like scout, but I kept trying and trying. Eventually I realized that no team would ever accept me even if I had the aim of a preVAC LMAOBOX aimbot. So I decided to use my year of aim training to become an engie main and sit in the corner while my sentry gun does all the work!
Hey, at least the shotgun aim can come in handy as Engie when your buildings get rekt.

The heavy is just a scout with more health and less speed....and also only 2 weapons.
Nabeel Nitro actually, Scout only uses his primary and, assuming he can actually aim, the Sandman. Unless it’s the Flying Guillotine or the Mad Milk, the secondary slot will not be used.
Simon Liu the handgun is useful when you have to do longer range combat tho

They are extremely similar in some ways. Both are hit scan of course. Scouts primary is very similar to the shotgun. And the pistol is mechanically almost the same as a mini gun just much less damage. Playing 1 makes you better at the other. On reason there are so few heavy mains it that playing heavy acts as a tutorial for scout in terms of hitscan aim. People just "graduate" out into scout. Obviously the classes server very different roles. And the movement mechanics of scout are another world from heavy. The crazy popularity of bb/shotgun heavies these day is an acknowledgement of this. You end up using the BB about as much as a scout uses pistol and the shot gun about as much as scout uses the scatter gun.
Tf2: Heavy, the big, strong, menacing Russian man. He has a freakin MINIGUN that is can demolish any class.
SoundSmith: let's use a shotgun that half of the classes can use!
and get an 18 killstreak and kill everyone in the server that's using fire explosions and more weapons that should overpower a little shotgun!
