I've watched this most informative video several times as I was anticipating getting a base 2.0T CC in all black with metallic flakes in the paintwork and I finally picked it up with 102K miles on it on December 28, 2021 and I couldn't be happier with my now 7th VW product. I like the rims that I have, but I really love the rims on this particular car. As you've noted, it's a good looking car that's comfortable, rides very nicely and is quick as hell. Thanks for this terrific video, most appreciated indeed.

@@joeyduffy5418personally I would run at the least 89. Because since it’s German the engine loves 91-93 but 89 will give it some of the middle ground performance and longevity of 91 without spending 91 gas money lol

Where are you located??? And I will tell you why I ask. My family and I live in the DFW. area of Texas. I just bought my 18 year old daughter a 2010 VW CC Sport Sedan with the 2.0 turbo engine with an automatic transmission. The car has 168,000 miles on it. It runs great. It looks absolutely amazing. The interior is immaculate with the exception of the headliner sagging but I’m told that is a common problem with VW’s. Most cars have a sagging headliner after 10-15 years anyways especially if riding with the windows down is a common thing you do. But it is silver with the same ebony and (whatever they call the beige color) cowsilk and like I said it is immaculate. No tears or rips anywhere on any of the seats. It doesn’t look like it has ever been sat in let alone rode in for 168,000 miles. I bought it from the second owner and he has had it since 2011 with 21,000 miles on it. It has brand new Road Hugger Ultra HP tires (and when I say “new” I mean like a week old “new”), new brake pads on the front and the rear. It has the expensive WeatherTech “laser cut” floor mats at all 4 seats as well as the big mat in the trunk that fits seamlessly and like a glove. So, to make a long story short (i just realized that it may be to late, as well as way to many words, for this statement now!?!?!? 😂😂😂) he was asking for $6,500 about 2 weeks ago when he posted it. He only had it listed on Facebook Marketplace and that was it. (which may explain why he didn’t have very many inquiries about the car???). My daughter was the one who found the car to begin with and she was talking with him all the way from the start to the time we went and looked at the car and drive it and then ultimately buying the car. Well he then dropped it down to $6,000 after the first week and then a few days later he dropped again to $5,500. I told my daughter to ask if we could come drive it and he told us to come and drive it and make him an offer. After driving it, which it drove and rode better than, believe it or not, a BRAND NEW FREAKING CADILLAC!!! I promise that that is a very honest statement I just made about the Cadillac comparison. And after talking to him some more, we ended up walking away with the car and a very happy daughter. She was dead set on a VW CC or a (why I still do NOT know) Hyundai Elantra. We looked at all kinds of cars and she didn’t like many at all simply because she had made her mind up that she wanted one of the other cars. The VW or the Elantrawas the only ones she would’ve been satisfied with. So, we got the car for an even $4,500. So, 2010 VW CC with 168,000 miles in immaculate condition and it cost us $4,500 and Iberia you went somewhere else and was away from a major metropolitan area you could get this same car for $3,000 or even less. Now, I do know that right now is the absolute WORST time to be buying a car. Tax refunds are hitting the hands of millions along with the absolute RIDICULOUS amount of money from these so-called “COVID” stimulus packages. Everyone has a lump of cash and the cars are going like hot cakes!!! The owner at a “tote the note/buy here pay here” car lot told me that the majority of the cars that he is getting currently were $2,000 cheaper back a year and a half ago. A car that cost him $2,000 to $3,000 last year now cost him $5,000 to $6,000 and he isn’t able to make nowhere near what he used to could back a year or so ago. Not to mention the fact that when I was looking for a car, it appears that EVERYBODY AND THEIR BOTHER IS IN THE BUSINESS OF BUYING AND SELLING CARS. I wanted to buy a car that someone has owned for a bit and knew about the car. It is ridiculous nowadays. Everyone is trying to make as much money as they possibly can off of every car they find and sell. Now I get that they are in the business to make money but geez man... slashing everybody’s throat is just bad freaking business. It is definitely a dog eat dog world out there and I do not want to participate in any part of that whatsoever!!! Anyways y’all have a wonderful weekend!!!

@@DFWJon yeah man these things drive so damn good and they got a lot of pickup speed on them too. I am from brazoria Texas. I bought the car by Stewart's in Sweeny Texas which is our hometown grocery store. the vehicle is in really good condition has a small rip in the driver's seat by the seam but the black paint job is amazing and the interiors is in great condition. I bought the car for my wife and I ended up liking it myself. And I know exactly what you mean about people trying to make as much money as possible. I just had to change the brakes in the rear and the rear wheel bearings.

@@TRUJEEZY402 yeah I paid 3500 for mine. 137000 miles on it at purchase. One week after owning. The clutch went out. Which was expected it had 140,000 miles on it roughly. Timing chain was just fixed. All the maintenance I had done on the car. Radiator flush transmission flush. And that is a sealed transmission. So you got to do it carefully three new wheel bearings on the driver side. Till I realized the parts were bad LOL. The fourth wheel bearing, was actually a good one. Driver side driveshaft as new as well CV axle. I'm selling the car now for 5500

My daughter has a 2010 VW CC with the 2.0 turbo and the automatic transmission and it is labeled as the “Sport Sedan” trim package (whatever a “Sport Sedan” is lol. ) and it only has the single exhaust. Her car is NOT an “R-Line”. So, with that being said, my info may be irrelevant to your questions and answers??? Have a great weekend nonetheless.

I listened to your other videos as well and I came to the same conclusion. Also I did some research and found out that the person who voices Hank Hill is Mike Judge who is also the creature of King of the Hill. He is very educated as well with a degree in Physics and speaks multiple languages. It just so happens happen that I am a very well educated person and I as well speak multiple languages. Why do I have this feeling that you value your life achievement more than your character. Can you say “propane and propane accessories” on your next video? This way we can remove any doubt.

I have a 2012 cc. There are a lot of good things about the car but it is not the engine. The engine has a limited life, that is my opinion.
