Market yourself and give them Relevant hobbies and experience. 3. Study Japanese a little bit to show good faith 4.mention MEXT program such as principals and how you can contribute to the system 5. Get a TEFL certification or educational certificates All great points!!!!
Hi, Kerry! Thank you so much for this video! You just got 1 new sub here :) I'm applying for JET 2022 and I'm getting so nervous lol. I was wondering if you're open to reading SOPs? I just finished my first draft and would like some feedback on it. I appreciate any help! Thanks so much.
Yes…my degree is in Language and Literature Education, but while that might have given me an edge (esp since it’s teaching), it’s not a requirement for JET. I know JETs with bachelors from all areas. Good luck on your application! ♥️

Hi Z! Let’s discuss it further. I’m on Instagram. Same handle. Shoot me a message, and we’ll take it from there! 😊
I have never heard about this before.
I’m hearing about this for this first time. What’s the program about ?
I thought about this one time, from watching the documentary of blacks living in Japan.
Thanks for watching! I Watched that documentary as well. Very insightful! ♥️
I can’t find an ESL certification at I-to-I, it’s called TEFL at the web page. Is it that one? And also it says 180 hours of training.
In bit sure if there procedures have changed. They had several ESL certifications when I applied.
Do you have to have a bachelor's degree in something English Language related?
