Who are your least favourite characters from TWD?
Easy Andrea, and for the same reason as you said. She is my favorite in the comics, together with Carl, and her relationship with Rick was the best romantic in the comics and the second best relationship in the entire walking dead universe, under Maggie and Glenn, and I always gets sad when I see her on the show because of what we missed

I don’t think Beth wanting to kill herself should have happened in the same episode as Rick and Shane fight, maybe in the episode Dale died, and I hate the hospital arc as the worst in the show and I would have wanted Billy from the comics.
However Beth is honestly in my top 10 favorite character and I would have wanted to see her threw the entire show
the pope segment was the funniest thing i’ve seen from Dan all year 🤣🤣. Really was Walmart Mario in the worst way possible
The most USELESS episodes ever aired in Walking Dead history is the first part of season 11. They developed Leah’s character so well until Lance suddenly hires her to kill Maggie and then Daryl just shoots her in the back of the head like he did with Morales.
I disagree with Ron being a poorly written character. He’s supposed to be a shity person.
I love Jared. He's such an amazing actor. Yes, I hate him. BUT THATS THE POINT. AND HE DOES IT PERFECTLY

As for Beth, I’d argue the hate is mainly how she died. The way she died really made her story in prior seasons worse off. Hence the hate. Honestly she have been a Stannis esc character. What do I mean? Well, in ASOIAF, book Stannis had this sorta thing where you think he’s doomed in book 2, but as time goes on you slowly realize by the 5th that he’s still alive and is now on the rise after his lowest moment in book 3. Beth could had been that and it seemed they were going in that direction.
The hate was for her awful acting and abhorrent singing
That was basically Carol. Would have liked Beth to get that too. Weak characters you expect to die fast, becoming strong, valuable players is always great.
I felt like Hornsby was a pretty good antagonist. He had motives, wasn't over the top and was generally intelligent.
I dont hate Beth but i understand is a very dissapointed character with her decisions especially on season 5, she deserved a better story
good on ya dan. i loved jarrods bad-assery (as much as we love to hate some characters moments/decisions. and personalities etc) i have loved watching some actors along the way, more than others.. including a few short lived ones. that iv loved watching.. Jarrod was defiantly one of them..
i think its when characters are a background noise, that steps forward, in whatever that moment is. they flow naturally.
it feels the writers have disjointed them too much, with crap lines to deliver..
eg - weird decision characters, or background characters in the foreground for one scene,
ones that stand there not speaking, and then leave on almost a counted que.
I think Andrea should be number 1 lol, I don't hate beth, but I definitely feel like she ruined every scene where she started singing
Tara belongs on this list, she is a really campy, poorly written character and the actor honestly isn’t even that good in my opinion. She overstayed her welcome way too long!
Dawn was a bisexual groomer her life ending in season 5 was a sweet reward

I still dont understand why Daryl lost his virginity to Leah.
He actually lost it to Merle’s friends. He mentioned this in season 4. They r worded him

In no particular order..
1. Lori was awful, she was so manipulative with Rick and Shane, leading Shane on and then completely rejecting him, telling Rick how dangerous Shane was becoming and then blaming Rick after he’s forced to kill him.. She was just a bitch
2. Andrea was also a bitch and just useless half the time
3. Carol annoyed me at times but she wasn’t awful, I especially didn’t like her in the beginning, but she grew on me
4. Beth was just whiny and annoying and her arc at the hospital is one of the most boring in the show
5. I did like Tyrese but he did become too “let’s forgive everyone” and does a Pikachu face whenever the group have to take drastic measures (like kill the cannibal group who were going to eat them and ate Bob’s leg)
6. Tara just.. Why did she survive for so long? Absolutely useless and I didn’t like her acting
7. Father Gabriel was annoying
8. And I know Carl was a kid when the show started but he was just such a blank slate most of the time 😬
There’s definitely more but those characters spring to mind the most for me

Carter, Aiden,Nicholas,Spencer,Olivia,Ron,Dawn, and all the rest of those police, Eric most of these are all in the same season and there are more in that season but im going to stop anyway
So you're telling me you Sonequa Martin Greens real life husband? That dude was on the show 7 seasons and never did anything. Wasn't even a part of a storyline. He just existed for no reason. He should've made the list before Virgil.
As I was clicking on this video I was thinking to myself, “He better not say, Sasha!” That’s my girl! So although she got a dishonorable mention, I’m not too mad at you. I think TWD did many of the female characters dirty. Too many off and on relationships and didn’t portray them as being strong first. They HAD to be sleeping with someone. Daryl nearly went the whole show without a love interest. Then they had Andrea looking like a h o e. Smh. Sleeping with Shane AND the governor. I do however agree with Beth as absolutely the most annoying character ever!!! And I don’t like Virgil for tricking Michonne and being crazy and all of a sudden not crazy. Just weird. One of my least favs was the long haired savior dude that Morgan killed. Couldn’t stand him!!!

I couldn't stand Sasha either but not as much as Lori and Andrea, I didn't like Beth at first but she starting getting better, I would have liked to see her live

I don’t t like Beth either, Andrea, Lori, pope, Leah and more. Love Daryl, Rick, Morgan,Negan, carol, michonne, Maggie ,Glenn and more.
The only reason i can see for disliking sasha is because she wasn't much of a character in seasons 3 and 4 and when she became a more fleshed out character she was always in a bad mood which is understandable because her boyfriend dies 2 days after finding her brother alive and then she loses her brother like a week or 2 later.
My least favourite characters are tara and Morgan seasons 7 and 8 Morgan. The reason i don't like tara is that i just forget she exists so often despite her becoming the leader of hilltop briefly. She was in the show for 5 and a half seasons and she does nothing. The biggest thing she did was find oceanside but that was a terrible episode and that community had a terrible plotline that mostly happened off screen.
The reason i hate Morgan is partly because of fear and partly because of how quickly and aggressively he swaps characters. The all life is precious morgan was actually interesting as he was one of the most skilled hand to hand fighters in the show but had a line he refused to cross and it was pretty cool to see him kill to save carol. It would make sense to have him try to deal with the fact he didn't want to kill but sometimes had to. Then Benjamin died, a kid he knew for a week in universe time and because that happened Morgan is now a genocidal maniac again to the point he was willing to kill the people on his side as seen when he went for jesus. I feel like that character arc swung way too far, we should have seen a Morgan that will kill in battle but breaks down after as he fears his clear side will come back but never does. Instead he threw everything he learned from eastman out the window. His journey should've been coming to terms with both sides but from the pacifist side who does kill. He should've been like jesus

Not my number 1, but I agree Beth is on the list of the worst characters and sad because she could have had potential. I kept waiting for her to outgrow the annoying stuff and have a big moment where she came into her own and did something great but it fell sooooo flat 😂
Andrea was a horrible character, she was poorly written and the actress wasn't believable. I didn't like Lori nor Leah either. I struggle to find other characters that I find to be poorly written, many are flawed but they are made to be that way.
I forgot to write that even though Lori and Leah are flawed characters they are written to be that way, I don't think they are bad or pointless characters like Andrea. I liked both actresses and I find them to be good and belivable in their roles. Lori and Leah served a purpose for the main characters by impacting them in some way. Lori was important for Carl and Rick just like Shane. Leah did the same for Daryl, she showed how committed he is to his chosen family and to what lengths he'll go in order to protect them. That is what suporting characters are suppose to do, they have the purpose of helping the main characters develope and grow.
My nominations would be: Morales, Bob, Paula, all of Oceanside, Luke, Magna, Pope, Leah, Sam, Virgil. Oh and all of maggies gang in seasons 10 and 11 too.
