The Ontario north is made for adv bikes. So many smaller and more curvy side roads but they tend to be in rough shape in spots. Need the longer suspension of an adventure bike if you want to ride them fast. With the wet summer we had, the colours were not as vibrant this year as some past falls. Nothing beats a warm and sunny, peak colour fall ride up here.
Thanks for this latest video and tour of Northern Ontario. Our local ride group in WI rode clockwise around Lake Superior in early September and we got to experience exactly what you did. Good stuff!
Glad you guys enjoyed your trip to Ontario. I'm from Sudbury and I can tell you that you've barely scratched the surface. You should plan another trip and if you get a chance, find your way out to our version of the Tail of the Dragon west of Timmins. It's a spectacular ride through mountain passes by a number lakes and along fast flowing rivers.. We do ride much more than 3 months a year here. I ride from April through to October usually..
As an Atlantic Canadian rider for over fifty years I’m a tad embarrassed to say I’ve only recently “discovered” the great roads of Ontario. Traditionally, when I’ve wanted to get out of Dodge, I’ve just headed south to ride through New England’s extraordinary Green and White Mountains down to the Blue Ridge Mountains. But, given recent political tensions, it’s been safer to just head north. An autumn ride from Orillia to Calabogie was my favorite; simply amazing . . . I’ll be back!
@UncleWally3 that is what I consider my back yard the ontario Highlands has so many roads to ride and mother ontario around superior to the manatoba border is a must ride.
I grew up in Southern Ontario but didn't discover motorcycling until I moved to Asia a little over a decade ago. Riding close to home has never been part of my motorcycling experience, so, thank you for offering me a glimpse at what it could be like.
sorry you guys didnt have more time as the topography changes so much from Quebec to Manitoba driving just on the 417 to the end of 17 only takes 22 hours and 50 min around lake Superior .
Very cool video about our beautiful province. One comment though, your guest is saying “3 months of predictable riding”, I don’t know I personally ride from mid-April to end of October. And from May to September the weather is awesome. Canadian favorite sport is not hockey, is complaining about the weather… 😘
I think he’s right though. It’s only June July and August when you don’t even bother to check the weather report. Outside of those months I’m always checking for precipitation & temp
what a nice ride. I feel like I'm riding with you guys. keep safe. and I wish I could have a bike like that, but I want a lower cc like MT03. what do you think?
I recommend Buckhorn Rd hwy 507, to Haliburton, to Minden then hwy 2 through deep bay. I'd like to see a vid with you guys stopping at Higher Ground cafe near Forks of the credit.
"The weather stinks nine months of the year." Really? How long have you ridden here? Here in southern Ontario I get at least six months, eight with the proper gear on. Americans tend to perpetuate myths about Canadian weather. How's the winter riding in North Dakota, Montana, all of your northern states in fact? I'll go back into my igloo now.
I let my Passport expire in 2020 because I never got the XXX-19 Jab.. Can't say I really want to Enter the Communist Country of Canada. I am a Snowmobiler too .
What a truly beautiful film
Lots of good roads in Muskoka/Haliburton area

Very enjoyable episode; keep them coming.
I laughed when He spit that horrible Tim Hortons coffee out
It was hard to taste the coffee with a burnt mouth.
FYI This is the type of videos I'd like to watch.

Welcome to ontario. We have plenty to see!
Neil Graham is a motorcycle journalist icon in Canada. Currently he's the face of the El Camino Television channel on UA-cam. Highly recommended.
Don't forget The Lowdown Show podcast!

Such beautiful scenery!
More videos of travel please! This was great!
Troy, love the hat. I used to live near Motorcycle Supply. Great shop, Bill is amazing. Very jealous that hat came out after I moved.
Thanks! Bill's a great guy, so I was happy to wear the hat for him. And he got a good kick out of it too.

key word "Reliably"

@@willbalkovec2631 bad excuse, riders in the UK, France, Germany ride all year long

Go for it! Buy the bike you want 😃. I tour on a 310 cc bike, as well as bigger bikes.

Great roads! Just watch out for OPP and their aircraft lol.
As someone who lives within the 100km circle, I winterized my bike today, shamefully.
Just great docu-riding. Nicely timed to remove the election hysteria bs that's everywhere else now....
Niagara Falls & the hundreds of falls in Hamilton? Algonquin park?
Welcome to India err I mean Canada. Sorry, sometimes I get it confused.

I believe that comment was made by a life-long Ontarian.

Same here, plus no second amendment rights. Hard pass for me too 😊
You should double check, we might be way more free than what you guys love to think you are…

Canada is a beautiful country but tyrannical government is demonic.
