How to connect 5.1 PC speakers to PS4.
Warning - if you are not using digital surround converter the sound will be only in stereo!
Warning 2: PS Slim doesn't have optical (TOSLINK) socket

Thanks for posting this video. Brother, you saved me a lot of money. Stereo speakers on a 5.1 setup. I guess Sony dropped the ball.

hdmi to tv from ps4 or xbox or pc......plug green, black and pink cables into woofer, then other side into that 3 female port cable that goes into 1 single 3.5mm jack.....then plug single jack into speaker port on tv......there you go, 5.1 surround sound......sound transfers into tv from console or pc....then gets redirected to your 5.1 speakers....your basically using your tv as a 5.1 convertor....sorted

Can't the TV just do this on it's own? Does it HAVE to be connected to the PS4??

All you need to do is plug in the aux into your ps4 controller and plug the other end into the back of the sub where it says "audio in".your welcome👍
