The sf 49ers and now red bull with leeds and Dell with Everton, it's great for our two great huge historic clubs, hopefully big things to come for both clubs, plus I'd say leeds and Everton have the best fans in English football
I will never get excited about any buyer, investor, consortium or whoever ends up buying Everton until i see what they do when they buy the club. I've learned my lesson.
I am not surprised that the mega billionaires are coming after Everton. Why wouldn't they go after one of the most historic clubs in English football? If I was Michael Dell I would be looking at Everton very closely and would strike fast.
Agreed. I am surprised there aren't a few Global Multi Billionaires who don't want to reach down the back of the sofa and find a meagre couple of Billion to chuck into Everton...
The deal is definitely further along the line than we realise. Moshiri hung on to pass the date with 777 to save paying the exclusivity deal. They've already sorted the deal behind the scenes. Yay! 🎉
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we owe 777 a huge amount of money? Were they not financing the stadium build, or paying off interest on the borrowing for the stadium?
If we (Everton supporters) can wake up to the news this deal as happened it will be a shift in power the likes of Liverpool Arsenal Chelsea and City will be worried I just hope that City can win there legal battle with the premier league next week because to have the money from the Dell family will be magnificent 💙🤑
But lets not get ahead of ourselves folks, it's tops we are at least having some positive news (for a bloody change!). Fingers crossed we get the right folks in and have some stability
It sounds exciting, but how can they make a difference under FFP. They cannot come with an open cheque book? I'm not being negative, it sounds fantastic but I'd just like an explanation.
Everton has been free falling down the league for 30yrs. It would be wonderful if we got new owners with a positive work plan. Our fans deserve this.. COTB💙
Lets not all do the "Mersey millionaires " thing again like when the fans thought moshiri's millions would be like the second coming of the football gods
This will clear debt. Positive. It will put two savvy businessmen in charge. Positive. It will mean Everton belongs to two Evertonians. Positive. But going forward, it ,makes little difference, unless we are very patient. They can invest in Youth, Scouting, Medical Facilities, Training Facilities etc. But other than that, the maximum they can add into the coffers each year is £30m about one Beto's worth of funds. Anything else we'll have to generate and no mega Dell Sponsorship deals etc as we are constrained by PSR and PL rules. So best start getting behind Manchester City wiping out the Premier League and their financial rules. Otherwise, it's a long haul, of good business, good governance, good planning etc. Still expect the best of our players to be taken by the Big Six etc, until such time as we rebuild a reputation and commercial incomes etc. Be happy this will put the club back on sound footing, will secure us. But in the immediate future, it changes little (unless City win their case).
There is a huge set of steps before everton are put in a reasonable position. Huge debt needs restructuring or preferably clearing. I dont see anyone rushing in to do that
Give Credit where it's due. We owe the PL thanks for NOT let 777 take over OUR club. Let's NOT count our chickens yet though. The 🤡 MOSHIRI doesn't have the best record when it comes to choices and Finance etc. Especially for an ACCOUNTANT.
You don’t know what you are talking about. “Dell family office” refers to Michael Dell’s privately managed fortune-it’s what’s known as a “family office,” nothing to do with his family. But, it’s a lot of money backing this bid. I hope there’s something in it for Moshiri, because he’s looking for the best deal for himself, not the club.
Hopefully this time we spend the money on great players , rather than last time buying what ended up being shite , it's OK having money but we need the right scouts to buy better
Hopefully it gets sorted soon. Need moshiri out of Everton asap get new owners in we're in aload of debt got the new stadium to finish off that needs more funds
Don't want to rain on the parade, but Dell has lent money to various football takeovers...But they've never backed a sports team in the sense of having equity...But I really hope this takeover is what it appears at face value.
@@johnmaguire6377 I don't know if you've seen but Bell and Downing's offer is £50m of their own money and £350m loan from Dell against stadium...Bell isn't backing them...He's just willing to loan money like he has done in the past to clubs like Southampton and West Brom. The other consortiums are offering full equity
Michael Dell has operated an investment vehicle which targets sports franchises in the US for years. He makes relatively small strategic investments. Don’t get carried away. His interest in Everton is likely to be the same- part funding the acquisition- NOT taking outright ownership , and certainly not making unlimited amount of money available to the club, even if he does become a partner.Calm down ffs.
Here one for lads if bell and Downing tell use over how about Dell group being are main shirt sponsor get rid off stake future looking good for Everton and if that deal comes off can in machine plays it’ll a tracks to club

Move over the so called top six we are coming to get you great news great great great I think all our fans deserve this fab news 💙💙⚽️😀🤗
Newcastle owners worth 400 billion they cant get in the top six
Surly Wer not forgetting ffp already

I want to know why Moshiri didnt do a deal like this last Fall and instead locked up with 777. What were the terms 777 were offering him?
Everton could definitely do an Everton and balls this up
Let’s get this done and tell Man Utd where they can stick their money
