    What people need to realize is that what she is doing is very normal. Back in the days of slavery, African American women added pork grease, butter, & other types of oil to keep their hair moisturized.

      My Mama used Crisco on our skin and hair because my sisters had bad eczema and allergies to fragrances and artificial colorings found is baby products and skincare products.

    This is great! I've seen tons of other videos that use HWC but I really wanted to know how to use just plain butter. You have such lovely thick hair. TFS

    Make sure there is no salt in it. The salt is usually why people make ghee from the butter (and remove the salt) before using on hair.
    Great video.

    This worked for my 4c hair but I used it like an olive oil organic butter moisturizer for my hair. I left it in all week and washed it out. I shampooed and conditioned my hair with Shea Moisture BAOBAB & TEA TREE OILS LOW POROSITY PROTEIN-FREE SHAMPOO and dried it with a towel. I bent my head over and combed it with a wide-tooth comb. I brushed it and put it in a uptop ponytail. All I had to do is use a little edge control on my edges and my hair was fine as if I had a relaxer in it.

    Well this was different. From what I learned from Curly Nikki on the Dr. Oz show is to use clarified butter...take small sections to get every strand...leave on for at least 30 minutes to overnight and rinse out even though I would think it would need to be cleansed out. It’s supposed to help with breakage. I haven’t tried it yet but I will this week. I don’t know if done the way Curly Nikki said means it has slip or not.

    • @cfoster6804
      @cfoster6804 3 роки тому +2

      Clarified has now nutrients. Ideally you want to use RAW butter but that's illegal in most states for political reasons. Thank the dairy industry for that...lobbyists.

    So the regular food has very strong smell. if you blend a wheeping cream, it cleases the impurity i.e the dairy bi product so that you only use the pure oil of butter. Also it doesn't smell that bad and you can leave it overnight. Or can sit under a drier for 45mins it opens up your skin pores then wash it. I used butter since I Was Little. Butter Is The Best hear Treatment. Add Some Essencial Oils Too
