The practice/reference sheet will be very helpful in following the video and to draw with me step-by-step. You'll have the characters and decorations in front of you along with 4 types of patterns. It will also help you to create your own doodle pieces. Just refer the sheet and you won't have to think or guess what to draw next!
Every artist has their own way of creating art. Here, I’m trying to show my way of doodling which might help beginners to get started and practice. Of course this is not the only way to doodle but it will give you a starting point. To develop your own drawing method and style you need to draw and practice :) So keep doodling and have fun!

This about the time I started drawing. If you encourage your nephew to keep drawing he will become amazing. But there is a secret hiding inside of this skill-set. Once I learned how to draw. I used this same skill-set to cut and edge hair.( and my lawn) I used this same skill-set to cut wood to frame houses. Your hand and eye coordination will give you a great advantage in a lot of skills that is need into todays labor market.
So amazing! I stopped drawing about 2 years ago, because I believed I could never become good at drawing(mainly, because I thought there was only the art style of realism). But now, as I’m an older, smarter self, I realize my little self was too dumb to realize drawing not as realistic was ok! I’m now using your videos and hoping I can become better at the doodling art style. Thank you so much for helping me get motivated and bringing me back to doing art! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

If only my house and Neighbourhood was as quiet and peaceful as yours! Just hearing the sound of birds chirping happily as you sit quietly on your desk, focused on drawing. Maybe even playing a lovely melody while you do so. It's so peaceful! My Neighbourhood consists of dogs barking, children running everywhere, parties being held very late at night and constant chatter. Living in a place like yours would be amazing!
I like the fact that you use nature sounds instead of really peppy music like most people do.

I've never been able to draw\doodle like that where there are lots of things stacked together because I never knew what shapes\characters I'd do etc. But to it like you did here, having the characters all "done" and seperate on one paper and then mush them together on a new page.. that seems so much easier, I'm gonna try that, thank you so much!

I work in a secondary school and, during some lessons when the students are doing a test, I started doodling with a pen. Portraits, characters, even did some holiday stuff one december.
Sometimes I'd leave them on my desk or just lying around and, after a few months, I went to set up an English classroom and noticed a TON of my pictures on the wall, pinned up. Doodles of other teachers, people from magazines, dogs and cats, everything! Above was a header that just said "Sir's Drawings" and one of my students, she told me "We've been stealing them from all over the place, Sir. We made a wall with all your drawings!". She'd stolen the ones of ballerinas for her scrapbook too.
Felt pretty made up by it! And upped my drawing game a little too, knowing that they were now in a gallery! XD

I used to draw kawaii foods and animals when I started drawing 5 yrs ago and I still do it for fun, i love these cute little doodles they are great for practice! Im an advanced artist now :)
My hands would be way too shakey to make those lines 😂 but i tried
my hands shake also, try gripping the pens very softly, works for me, just keep on doodling

I did have some concerns about things to do with overlapping... a lot of the time I have problems with things that need to be drawn in front or behind. (something even as simple as a shirt a character might be wearing) - I was wondering if you had any tips for this sort of problem? :3
