sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
I'm sorry for your loss, and admire your ability to continue on with this channel despite you regular life and all that comes with it. In relation to the video, I would love to see a video with Jedi Master Saba Sabetyne (Idk if that's how you spell her name. The barable jedi council master.) I feel like she is slept on when people discuss the powerful masters of that era.
Corran Horn’s Force abilities breakdown has left my mind blown. All of the things he has accomplished to compensate for his lacking TK powers makes him worthy for the title of Jedi Master. I’d place Horn as a Tier 2 or possibly a Tier 1.5 as an overall combatant
the TK inability was only with his own internal reserves of force energy, when he absorbed energy TK became easy for him. Hence why he was able to turn the explosions in I jedi into a fire tornado that blew out the roof of the building, carrying several barrels of explosives into the night sky to detonate like fireworks above the city and he kept the energy so contained from the MASSIVE trap that the walls of the warehouse he was did not fail, but only slightly glowed from the heat of the fire. Shame what happened to his silk jedi robe at the time, though. He ended up doing a walk of shame out of the ruins, and was too drained to mask his presence with illusions and almost got himself killed by the pirates he was infiltrating at the time. He was also given a force vision of his grandfathers death at the hands of a dark sider, where his grandfather drained ALL the power out of a lightsaber that had been stabbed into his chest, completely crushed the wielder into a boneless corpse with a giant telekinetic crush, and held up the ceiling of a collapsing cavern so his allies could get out. The halycons were an insanely specialized, insanely powerful corellian jedi clan. The rare part of his ability was that he was able to absorb force pushes and add that energy to his shields. In the fight with Kyp durron at the academy, he was able to block the first attack, then Kyp dug deeper and accessed Kuns strength and the shield expanded and held, but the force behind the push crushed corran between the shield and the wall, making him able to breath until he blacked out. the wall started to crumble around the edge of Corrans shield it was pushed so hard into it.
My favorite part of this fight is that Thanaton has the power he needs to win but his usual tactics mean his first move will be to Give Corrin the power to curbstomp him
Sorry for your loss man. Hope you are doing alright. For everyone else, Corran Horn, the successor to Obi-Wan's troll throne (talks about mind tricking Kyp Durron into thinking he had gotten dressed already in the morning to get him to walk around in his skivvies, and of course having the balls to deliberately annoy a 3,000 year Sith spirit), and the closest a character in Star Wars has come to becoming batman (terrorises pirate scum and deliberately takes advantage of superstitions to manipulate them, fighting them at night primarily while making good use of his mind trick talents).
Hilariously enough, I have often described the Jensaarai as the Jedi Order as envisioned by Batman: Vigilantes who operate in secret and favor animal themed armor.
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope in every day of her long life she found happiness, love, success, and friendship. Particularly with family, who hold her close to their hearts.
It's funny how you can sum up the battle as "Horn has high TK profficiency but no battery for it, Thanaton uses Force Lightning against Tutaminis essentially giving him the battery, Horn ironically crushes Thanaton in a telekinetic fist, 10 seconds and we're done".
Sorry for your loss. I'm sure this latest episode of Versus Series is as great as always. I appreciate your commitment to the channel and all of us who enjoy your content.
Sorry for your loss I really enjoyed this collaboration. bringing something interesting from both the old republic and the new era legends I didnt know that much about corran horn, yet this was PLEASANT surprise to indulge more into his power and his characters. That quote at the end was really powerful. I also liked Darth Thanatos, from his comic and his design(based my OC sith on his sith tattoo) Really enjoyed the video
Corran Horn is a Mega Sceptile while Thanaton is an electric type not aware of Lightning Rod with tackle instead of grass/dragon coverage move in the last move slot.
No wonder Thanaton tells Nox "I love you as if you were my own child", he basically sees us as everything he once was and hates Zash for corrupting us and making him kill us.
Baras sits on him STOMP 10/10. In all seriousness, despite Baras being AMPed by the Entity (supposedly stated by Drew to be Traya) and Sel Makor (A Dark-side entity who rivaled Vitiate) most of Baras' feats stems from accolades and wordplay. On one hand one can argue having being the entire Council of Dark Lords having been fooled by Baras to make him as the Voice of the Emperor should represent his force potential rivals Vitiate and in turn could give Plagueis a hard fight to a victory. On the other hand based on actual feats rather than wordplay, Plagueis commands the fatty's midicholorian to kill themselves or ragdolls Baras
William Henning Eh, I wouldn’t say nothing if we wank Baras (which I am just for the sake of giving the fatty a hope to defeat Plagueis). He got an AMP (though how much is uncertain) from an Entity who stalemated Vitiate+another Dark-Side Entity who was the described by Vowrawn as the darkside itself as well as the fact that she was supposedly the “lover of Vitiate”. If we wank Baras he still loses but puts up a decent to easy fight for Plagueis. Without these wank Plagueis commands Baras’ midicholorian to kill themselves along with many other feats he can do
@@blackmarketgamingTheLukaski From what I remember, Sel-Makor only stalemated a weakened Vitiate. Either way, we know the amp couldn't have been any significant portion of his power since Baras was defeated by the Wrath. Somebody who was beneath the Hero of Tython pre-KotFE.
I remember when I lost my grandfather. It took me a long time to recover from it so I’m amazed by your ability to continue. Amazing work as always. If you feel like you need time to cope with your loss I completely understand. I will always stay subscribed to your channel.
I am a simple man. When I hear subtle Halo music and a montage of scenes from the old republic trailers, I leave a comment about such iconic parts of the VS community
Thank you so much for this video and you have my sympathies for your grandmother. Please, take the time you need to get back to form and I wish you and yours all the best.
Sorry for your loss. I hope you continue to make amazing videos. Since you brought in a great NJO character, I'm wondering if you are planning on using Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker in any upcoming videos (or if any other of the council are planning to). He's another great combatant that I can think of some great matchups for, and I'd love to see him used.
Sorry to read about your loss... On topic of the video itself: once again a great video (I particually like the image of zur Jedi surrounded by flames) and match-up. Espacially, when considering the combatants, who remained almost unused until today. Looking forward to the next video and certainly wishing you all the time and strength you need these days.
My knowledge of both characters is limited so I found both of your analyses very informative. Corran Horn’s lack of natural telekinetic ability is an unusual setback which he has more than compensated for. His skills with illusions and mind tricks probably outshine the likes of Yarael Poof. By the way is the Halcyon inability to use telekinesis a genetic defect or some kind of “curse” placed upon their ancestors? Which Jedi class would associate Corran Horn with? Darth Thanaton felt like nothing more than a Sith Show Pony when compared to his adversary in this match; all bark and no bite. A shame because he failed to display a key Sith trait: cunning. Had he been more cunning maybe he could have proved more of a challenge for Horn. He appears to be a Sith Inquisitor with the mentality of a straight forward Sith Warrior. Looking forward to both of your future versus videos. May the Force serve you well.
Sort of hard to tell since everything from species to equipment/weapons being up to the player which is why (to my knowledge) no verses youtuber I've seen has ever done a video of 'How Power of:' or verses videos of any of the SWTOR characters.
Solar system level for now. Search ,,Hero of Tython vs battles wiki''. Considering empire's wrath and darth nox are similar to him in terms of power, they are solar system level too.
I'm so sorry for your loss, your grandmother must have been truly wonderful Aside from that a nice analysis. I actually also have the same comic collection for Teneb's story... But yeah verdict went where I expected
I just 2anted to send my condolences before I watch the video. It's not easy losing a loved one. Grandparents tend to hold a special place with each of us. Take the time you need, love on your family and friends and remember your favorite memories. Take care.
I never really know what to say when a person dies especially if it's another person family member but I will say this "No one is ever really gone" may the force be with you my dude
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. It is terrible to suffer a bereavement. Very good analysis. Certainly worth doing a collaboration on given the feats of both characters.
My condolences bro, always tough to lose family. BTW: And kudos for using my personal fav jedi (what can I say, I opened my EU adventure with reformed Rogue Squadron books, plus I love quirky OPness, and the fact his tutaminis and mind tricks would, IMO, supress yoda level coupled with next to no proficiency in telekinesis Halcyon males share suits the definition of "quirky OP" just fine).
Please make the next match up Bant Eerin vs Cighal. Those two characters are Mon Calamari female Jedi Masters, and I want to know how powerful both of them really are. I'm also so sorry about the loss of your grandmother. May she rest in peace.
RIP to your grandmother, that’s tough. As far as the video goes, Corran has always been my fave Star Wars character, and I heartily agree that he would stomp Thanaton!
1. If it's Vector Series Krayt (Pre-resurrection), then Kun wins; if it's Post-resurrected Krayt, he curb stomps. 2. Vader wins, unless it's DoE Bane, then he probably wins. Hard to say. ROT Bane wins because of his orbilask armor, which is overkill. 3. Maul.
Joseph Rousell yeh I can agree with that I wouldn’t say it’s a stomp for post resurrection krayt id say it’d be close as I’d say Kun is the better duelist
@Clip Art Design Yes, but it is old enough to where it is dated and an conclusion in which, he ultimately gave to bane . An conclusion i disagree on, and i'm sure he would have changed his mind on by now since it is over 5 years old.
Which version of Krayt? If this was Legacy Krayt this would actually be a great fight. Vader wins against any version of Bane. Darth Maul wins without too much difficulty against Nihl.
@Clip Art Design He's simply far more powerful, both going by feats and scaling. Bane is the weakest of the Banite line which puts him far below the later Banite Sith like Tenebrous, Plagueis and Sidious. Vader as of ANH was more powerful then his RotS self who easily beat the likes of Dooku. Dooku managed to hold his own against Yoda, a being who's is on par with Sidious. An even easier comparison is Vader being more powerful then an early game Galen Marek who blasted entire armies away with Force pushes.
Ill always miss my grandma....stupid as it's sounds at this moment watching this I kinda feel like she was my Jedi....always wearing that soft Jesus looking robe and offering a kind word. I'll never forget her. And no matter how jaded I get I'll always have a little love in my heart because of her. Keep her in your heart ...that's how you honor her memory. My deepest sympathy to you master jedi....
Hello! I'm sorry for your loss man, may your grandmother rest in peace. I appreciate your channel and love that you have such an enthusiasm for SW. I was wondering if you would do a Darth Traya v Emperor Palpatine
Im in a grad class right now, will full watch and give thoughts later. But OMG this is finally out! Ever since Jensarrai1 posted that pre mortem ive been interested in this one. Btw, is it just me or is Corran better suited for dark side force powers than light side? Affinity for energy abilities, mental manipulation, idk? As for who wins this one, Corran. Unless Thanaton opens up with tk and proceeds to ragdoll, Corran can deal with Thanaton's shenanigans and beat him in lightsaber combat. RIP to your Grandmother. I hope your doing well Evan. My condolences to you and your family.
Now I have some time, so its time for thoughts. Oh Darth Thanaton. Kick ass name and I love him as an apprentice. But man did he atrophy as far as his skillset is concerned. Yeah he can drop lightning storms like a tactical nuke, summon death fields, and levitate but he really has relied soley upon nuking his enemies to death rather than being the tactical apprentice of his youth. Despite being a master sorc, surprised Thanaton lacked Sith amulets, or combative sorcery. The only issue I have with Jensaarai1's assessment is that due to being a master of Sith sorcery, Thanaton's armor is likely derived from Sith Alchemy and therefore lightsaber resistant. As for Evan's assessment of Corran Horn, so many little moments I love. The 3 rings feels like a more flushed out version of niman's bladework, surprised you dropped the idea of his skill in form 4 which I actually skill think he dabbled in. Skill with unarmed combat, usage of acrobatics, and Jar Kai. Horn's ultimate failing is his lackluster tk abilities but kind of like how Grevious developed his skills and tactics to prevent his opponents from landing tk on him, so did Horn in his own unique way. 23:10 Connor's order. lol 23:17 On the one hand, Corran Horn's sass in this moment against Kun indicates this mans level of balls. Yes Horn pissed off Kun. But remember. Kun's ego rivals Seto MotherFucking Kaiba's and after being dead for over 4000 years, is one cranky Sith Sprit. Also, Jensaarai1 considered Thanaton to have tier 1- force power and you 2 consider their power in the force being on par with the other. Used to think Horn is tier 2, but maybe I should reconsider Horn's placement. That issue with dealing with tk stops him from even being a tier 1- because of how big of a problem it is. I say he is tier 2+-tier 1.5 force user. Fantastic collaboration you 2, glad to see Evan and Jensarrai1 keep pumping out great content.
I know it`s the lore that Corran is only 1,67m tall, but I think the writers themselves forgot about that, cause whenever I see him drawn he`s the same height or taller than everybody else, I remember a comic page where he was drawn towering next to Kyle, and Kyle is 1,80m tall. Shedao Shai was definitly taller than that.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, may she rest in peace. I hope you’re holding up well, and maybe finding a little comfort or distraction in work. This match wasn’t even really a competition, just due to the fact that Teneb Kel and Thanaton are basically different people. Kel has the right mindset to make this an actual contest, but lacked the magnitude. Thanaton has the magnitude, but lacked the mindset and tactical sensibility.
I believe Kyle could win because he has achieved similar successes to mace physically has mastered all seven forms like mace and has learned a greater variety of force abilities and has fought against many more opponents of great skill
@@raicattivo Both are physically comparable but of the two Mace is younger than Katarn by over a decade. Both are out of their physical prime and it is a minor advantage but Mace does hold that edge between the two. As duelists again I'd argue they're comparable but Mace does have an advantage in that he has a fully developed complex lightsaber style in Vaapad that Katarn has no familiarity with at all and it broadens Windu's options. As force wielders its important to remember that while Katarn may arguably have a broader range of combative abilities those abilities are not necessarily likely to be effective against Windu. Certainly the powers that are most likely to come into play (such as telekinesis) are not beyond Windu's capability to overcome and Katarn is going to have his hands very full dealing with Windu's abilities as well. In regards to fighting many more opponents of greater skill I have to disagree. With the exception of the council sparring sessions and his swift defeat at Caedus's hand I'd argue Mace is the one with far greater dueling experience against high calibre adversaries.
Condolences in regards to you grandmother, man. My predictions: Dammit, this is tough. I think Thanaton has the physical edge, Corran the M.A. edge & both being equal in force abilities. Cutting it close, but I think this gonna be a war of attrition with Thanaton taking the W.
the fight would come down to what happens first. If Thanaton doesn't know about Corrans absorption ability, he would fall back on his massive force abilities, which Corran would soak up like a sponge and obliterate him with the absorbed energy. If he deigns to engage in a lightsaber duel first, then he may have a chance
So the other day I'm cleaning at work listening to you and Conner amd it occurs to me: Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi versus Teneb Kel and Darth Thanaton.
A little late to the party but happy to see this. I'm sorry for your loss I know what is like to lose a grandparent. Hope you are doing well. I also hope that you or the other Fanalysis council do: 1. Teneb Kel vs. Galen Marek 2. Jaina Solo-Fel vs. Shaak Ti 3. Ferus Olin vs. Dass Jennir 4. Yareal Poof vs. Corran Horn 5. Even Piell vs. Rahm Kota
Kel gets roflstomped by Marek. Leaning Jaina on the back of superior skill and Force power, though Ti contends. I wanna say Olin based on what little I know but it's close. Horn is a vastly superior duelist and his Force abilities rival Poof's for hax.
Aw man, I hope you’re holding up well, may your grandmother rest in peace
May she RIP.

2 of the best on UA-cam
RIP GMA✊🏾
sorry to hear of your loss may her soul be part of the force
This has probably already been asked, but I was thinking Anakin Skywalker Vs Darth Maul would be interesting
I know this is really late man but I just now found this and wanted to say sorry for your loss
It's always nice yo see you working with others, even If I it's not my cup of tea. My condolences BTW.
Sorry for your loss Evan. Stay strong!
23:10 Connor's order. lol
23:17 On the one hand, Corran Horn's sass in this moment against Kun indicates this mans level of balls.
Shedao Shai was definitly taller than that.
some of that may be forced perspective, but yeah corran is short, like a lot of the starfighter pilots in Star Wars
Eavanova95 so you grandmother was 90 when you made this vid
Sorry for you lost my friend. May she rest in piece. Also corran is one of my favorite jedi!
Keep it up Evan and remember: No one's ever really gone. R.I.P Sophia
Do Mace windu vs Kyle Katarn
Good fight but most likely Mace.
X Doubt
@@raicattivo doubt? Sorry I'm not sure what you meant? As in you doubt Mace would be the more likely victor?
With the exception of the council sparring sessions and his swift defeat at Caedus's hand I'd argue Mace is the one with far greater dueling experience against high calibre adversaries.
rip to your grandma bro
Sorry for your loss, man, let us (the fans) know if you need anything
Being a huge halo fan aswell as Star Wars I love the music in these videos
Condolences in regards to you grandmother, man.
My predictions: Dammit, this is tough. I think Thanaton has the physical edge, Corran the M.A. edge & both being equal in force abilities. Cutting it close, but I think this gonna be a war of attrition with Thanaton taking the W.
Oh shit, Jensaarai!! Nice!!!!
the fight would come down to what happens first. If Thanaton doesn't know about Corrans absorption ability, he would fall back on his massive force abilities, which Corran would soak up like a sponge and obliterate him with the absorbed energy. If he deigns to engage in a lightsaber duel first, then he may have a chance
Maaaan Corran is one of my favorite Legends Jedi. He deserves to make an appearance in a Rogue Squadron series or new canon novel
I don't really want them to have him make an appearance in the new canon, they would probably wreck his character
Can u do a How Powerful or Story of for Darth Nihilus and Tulak Hord
So sorry for your loss!
Sorry about you're loss I lost mine a few years ago now.
Rest in peace
Corran Horn vs Zannah
So the other day I'm cleaning at work listening to you and Conner amd it occurs to me: Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi versus Teneb Kel and Darth Thanaton.
My condolences for your family, my Grandmother passed away recently as well it’s tough adjusting to losing someone that close to you.
Your grandmother, has now become one with the force.
Apparently, Corran Horn has a since of humor, the giant Jedi with a lightsaber made of fire is proof of that
I mean, this is the guy who said he was going to put a flat screen tv in Exar Kun's to temple... to Exar Kun's FACE. XD
I lost my grandmother last year on the ninth of May. She was also 90 years old. I'm sorry. For your loss.
4:02 didn't Thanaton rather the Dark Council on Korriban rather than Kaas?
so sorry for your loss be Strong and stay in the light
A little late to the party but happy to see this. I'm sorry for your loss I know what is like to lose a grandparent. Hope you are doing well. I also hope that you or the other Fanalysis council do:
1. Teneb Kel vs. Galen Marek
2. Jaina Solo-Fel vs. Shaak Ti
3. Ferus Olin vs. Dass Jennir
4. Yareal Poof vs. Corran Horn
Marek
Jaina
Olin
Horn
Kota
44:54 Why, what will happen if you use gasoline to put out a fire??
Sorry for lost I just lost my grandfather . I feel u man 😔😔😔
