I really enjoy these reviews, because I'm a shift worker, with access to a microwave, but rarely have leftovers from home cooked food. Therefore, I tend to take prepacked fresh, or frozen meals, to have at work. I am not a fussy eater at all (heck, I like hospital food!), but that one looked really good. I think I'll be buying one for my late shift next Thursday. Can you review the other meals in that brand? Some look good, some look like they could be a bit ordinary. I trust your reviews because you don't pull any punches. You tell it how it is. Thanks heaps for this review!
@@davemustaki134 as I said well worth a try for something that's half decent or ain't half bad 😞 for $8. I'll take a wild guess and say you're not a Rhodes scholar lolalolalol
That looked really good Greggo... We all have lazy days where we don't feel like cooking at all... And for $8.00... It's a lot cheaper than ordering something like a Pizza to be delivered... I'm sure you can find somewhere to store a few of these in your freezer... And use them whenever you're having a lazy day... 👍 Great review Greggo!... Cheers mate.🍺
Just a heads up that Woolies has just stopped stocking them and other on the menu 480g meals and if you can find any stock you can get these for $2.40 and the smaller 320g old packaging ones for $1.40. I think they’ll continue to stock the 320 gram varieties but with updated packaging at normal prices (hence the sale) but the 480g of this type aren’t coming back apparently.
One of the best things I did was to stop eating these 'meals' altogether. As a shift worker they are very convenient but when you look at those ingredients... REAL bad for your health and processed as hell. Greg'o risking his health for the viewers again!
the box is always "here's what our chef made, so this is what you expect" what you actually get is "here's what our factory made *FOOLED YA HAHAHA* " all the time -.-
@@muaythai.8474 It was well within date, but I think it was just to get market traction. Their normal meals are smaller portions (325g) so they were trying to get people to try the larger size (480g) which compares to the Heinz large sized meals. I was sceptical of it being on sale too and thought it was going to be horrible, but thought considering the price, I'll take the risk this once. Glad I did. They only had 2 different meals this size though, so their product range needs expanding.
This oarticular brand "On The Menu" I believe both Coles and Woolies has. But either one, depending on which store location may not have all varieties.
Greg don't i wish they had this type of meal on Qantas Domestic for the Dinner service. Anywho wow its come along way the science in the kitchen back in the day the cruch would be soggy thanks for the review i might get me one when its on Special at Coles or the other mob.
These guys are pretty inconsistent uh GregO but reviewed to a tea as always and looked decent enough to devour, especially later at night after a heap a jars… cheers Gibbo
This is the type of food they could pack into freezer on a spaceship on an expedition to another star system and have you wake up after 40 years of suspended animation and this will be your first meal 40 light years from earth. ALDI are still waiting for your review!
Those things are manufactured in Bayswater. I know because I got pinged setting fire to their bins in protest of their smoky bbq meatballs pack. In court, the recently widowed judge, who'd scoffed some the night before, ruled my actions were justified. The system works.

more Bug feasts! Awesome! It's buzzin' good!

He says 7% fat, that's per 100g, not for the whole serve that's 35% and to say have 3 per day is 105% fat, wayyyyyyyy too much
@AussieLightworker lmao actually cringe. Go outside and touch grass

Are U saying that if your single then good food isn't good enough for you?🤣
Lools like public hospital food in sydney
Really? I thought this was what they serve at high-class restaurants in Sydney.
You know because it's a ghetto 😂
Bought this last week still in freezer. Thanks for reminding me Greg

It's amazing that they include the percentage of beef! In the US, we don't have that kind of info on our labels. It would be handy to know!
The greggo meter drama & narration really got me invested

hope you feel better quick mate. Nothing better than some noodles or a good tuna salad

I'd rather pay $2 more and get a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza from Pizza hut.
Greggo I'm going to keep a eye out for one of these cutlets tomorrow. Cheers.

Just bought this. Was absolutely yummo.

This kind of food is mostly terrible!! Lol. Thanks for the heads up Greg!
Can confirm, this is one of the better frozen meals out there.
I bought mine on sale for $6.40, so thought the value was good too!
On sale means out of date usually or not selling because it's crap
