looks like the amazon package might be a bit better.. has a larger keepnet in it. not sure how to compare overall other than it has almost twice the maximum keepnet for the same price.
Yep! If you just want to go off the keepnet- definitely bigger! Boat May as well be the same- rod is a bit stronger, and will likely be over powered for most anything but some fish in the Amazon... spoons are pretty huge... but you may be able to use them for salmon and lake trout... hmmm 🤔 up to preference I guess!

When you buy a fishing pack does the pond passes days start counting down right away or do they count down every time you go to one of the locations?
They start the day you buy the DLC

Nah, its $40 ;) about the price of a full game... so if you've been playing for free, this could make it the price of a regular game I suppose ;)

Not being able to have a friend in the boat with you is such a massive fail imo. Pretty much guarantees I'll never buy one.
Yeah, I agree. I really hoped that would be a possibility. That- and rod holders would be great! Though- I can understand they may be a bit OP.

You should be able to use them- I think the only thing with level is being able to buy things or unlock lakes/licenses, etc. After you have it, you can use it at any level.

the only problem I see with these packs is after you use the little line they give you. wouldn't that render the rod/reel basically useless until you level up enough to buy the 70lb braided line. i guess you could use it with 30 lb line but then it wouldn't be a balanced set up and I would just use a 30lb drag rod/reel. I highly doubt that 1 pack of line is gonna last 30 real life days. I'm level 33 at the moment and the best braided line was like 30lbs.
Yeah, I usually only recommend buying the premium days over DLCs. Because that is exactly what happens. And a lot of people get burnt out that way as well. Fish in the Amazon from level 10 to 35… and then at 35 the leveling is slow and boring and they quit the game

Wish that buying the pack would allow you to buy the items that come with it from the store. almost seems like a trap for any new player that doesn't understand the game yet(like me lol).
@@anarchy6570 oh yeah, if anyone ever asks me about DLCs, I always say not to buy any of them, it’s a waste of money in my book. But- if you had cash burning a whole in your pocket, this vid was meant to help you understand what you get

This or the amazon pack as a lvl 30? looks like the amazon pack comes with a HUGE keepnet and better gear overall but is the map as good to get some levels and cash as bluecrab?
Depends on how much pay to win you want- I don’t recommend any of the packs. Just makes the game shorter

Are you on console? Sometimes it just takes a bit to register. I’ve heard of people waiting up to 3-4 days sometimes, though- depending upon Microsoft/Sony and internet speeds

So I grinded have close to 400k I don't want to spend real money on the game. I can buy any boat I want with in game money. Wondering which one to buy. I want something that will last me so I never have to buy another boat. Part of me wants to buy the best bass boat but I'm on the fence because it's alot of money. I don't know anything about any of the boats tbh or if that 400k bass boat is worth the money. I want something practical. I'm a lvl 32. Advice?

@@BoAngles I'm just after a boat that won't tip over once I get up into bigger fish. Lol idk if a kayak will tip over eventually? I searched all over UA-cam and forums I can't find a review of boats. I'm assuming the bass boat is "the best" because of the price but that might not be the case. Idk if a kayak will serve me just as well as a 400k bass boat. I don't want to blow all that money when something lower cost will be just as good. I read a guy bought the 400k bass boat wasn't impressed and only got 78k back when he sold it. Ouch. I haven't bought any boats in the game yet or even rented anything so idk what's good and what's not.
@@eyesrgrey1873 lol, I think you’re overthinking it. If you’re going to spend all of your money on this boat and have nothing left- then don’t buy it. If you’re wanting to compare the boats, there’s horsepower and fish finder to compare. Otherwise, just buy the most expensive boat at the highest level and call it good. It’s just a boat.

Yep! Take advantage of that time to level up if you're interested in getting some quick money and exp from Blue Crab! Then it will be back to regular fishing!

Lol, depends on how badly you want to go to Blue Crab... all Fishing Planet DLC's are optional, so they're all personal preference based on the time you have to play!
When I see people in a bass boat I'm like amature spent 40 bucks on a boat when I have this kayak I got for 25 bucks
