Hello. Heres a video suggestion. Im not a dont starve expert, but maybe you can speed runner vs hunters that can only spawn a certain type of hostile enemy. Like having spiders in the hunter's inventory and dropping them, hunters being webber.
Suggestion: make a cave "VS" run where you can visit a cave only since about day 10, you should probably have the moggles circuit and you are to kill the ancient guardian. Or perish.

Hearing you yelling at the burning alchemy engine was insanely fun, but thinking about that, walls wouldn't have helped you because it only takes a few seconds for a player to break one, so those couldn't have possibly made your life easier. I didn't know one could reset dragonfly's health when there were other players in range, though... Which honestly sucks. Great video.
Just have a mod that makes crafting much cheaper(only for you, or for everyone), than you can all start with no items. it will induce creativity and will make it more intense.
I feel like pvp should always happen in lights out mode so survival depends on more than just laggy combat - light management - would need to limit resources somewhat so everyone "king of the hill"s for the light
