- Hey my beauties, I'm back with another video, talking about the importance of the friends that you keep around you. A lot of the time we forget that the friends we choose, not only reflect the time of people we truly are but also effect that type of person we will eventually become. So here's a few tips on what it is you should be looking for in the friends that you keep.

I can count my true friends on one hand and I'm proud of that fact. Too many people out there with their FB/Instagram 'friends' numbering in the hundreds. I can't be doing with that. My friends will take me from confusion straight to the door of the solution (to use your words). Everyone else is categorised as an acquaintance.

Although I find myself mostly surrounded by hard-working, smart and positive people who aspire me to become better, I do have a few that I have very complicated feelings about. This one girl who...considers me as one of her best friends, I do find her from time to time to be very annoying, in a sense that she makes me feel awkward and sometimes brought down when I'm with her (saying blunt things at inappropriate times; badmouthing me "unintentionally" in front of people). I also really hate how she's too optimistic in a way that it's simply dumb (e.g. "It's ok I'm happy I passed" "My best subjects are xxx!!! Even though I'm only getting a C in it; it's fine because it's cause of the teacher!")... but again she could be the sweetest thing and I just can't really be THAT mad about...

This was such an eye opener and makes be do some deep thinking. I've thought about it and I don't think people can really know me by my friends. I have friends who are complete opposites and do different things. But I feel like I have a big spectrum of friends for different purposes. Perhaps one to make me feel a certain way at a certain time or another who will enjoy the idea of a secret I need to tell. It may be difficult now to hand pick my friends and to remove friends. But I'll always be sure to remember your advice and write it down and keep it in my heart. And one day, I'll be courageous enough to "filter" my friendships. Life's a journey full of experiences. I love your message in this video and I love how passionate you are about what talk about. I also love how you know who you are, what your values are and what you stand for. Thank you so much for this. I've had a real issue with friends recently because I feel as though I'm an old soul and the way I think about certain things is more mature than my friends. This has caused a friction because I feel as though the way they act and the way that the values that they have don't match up with mine. The thing is, Ik that we're all still young so I kind expect them to have certain mind sets because we are only 14/15 after all. I don't lose these people but due to the fact that I doubt them being true friends so often that cutting them off or distancing myself is the best option. Go with my instincts you know? I guess what I'm tryna to ask though is how do I end the friendship in the least destructive way because I'm going still be in school with these people for a couple years and they were literally the closest people to me. It hurts a lot cos I've known them for so long and I'm also so scared to start a fresh and meet new people.

What do you do when these bad friends are all you have got? When these dreams are getting prevented but you would/do feel lonely because nobody has or cares about your dreams?
I'm going through this right now and I finally realized it's much better to be my own company than to waste my time and energy on toxic people.I'll just keep working on myself and succeeding with god as my rock and I know the right people will come at the right time.
Also,I heard this somewhere and it stuck with me.
Achieving your dreams require energy,change requires energy.Energy is limited so you can't be wasting it on people who will literally drain you out.
I have found that the loneliness will come no matter what. Even if you keep them around, eventually you will feel lonely anyway cause you will feel like you live in your own universe and they're just not on your level.
When you get rid of old things, you have room for the new. If you part with your old friends, you will be pleasantly surprised with the new ones you will get.
