375A via Whitehaven Crescent - Transperth Oddities

Recently I discovered that route 375 actually has a second random deviation via Whitehaven Crescent instead of just the Bloodwood Drive deviation that I originally first filmed in January 2023, so I went to ride this one-stop deviation too. Another completely useless one...

Did you ever take the 375 when it did the middle part of Balga? Not sure how long ago it changed… but back in the day it ran the same way as the old 64 & 373, ie down Treen, Muswell, Culloton, Camberwell, Princess etc, and at the top of Marloo St, when the 64 turned left into Amelia, the 375 turned right like the 373, down to Wanneroo Rd, left & along for 4 stops then left and a bog lap around the Nollamara shops, before following the 354(?) route to Mirrabooka… and return the same way; it ran there and back 4 times a day, last service was 4.30pm from Mirra, and it caused some small confusion for those on Wanneroo Rd on the Perth side, if you weren’t aware where it was actually going.
There was a time period of about 2 weeks where I would catch the service that stopped outside on Culloton near Camberwell, all the way to Mirra & return on the 3.24pm 64 from Mirra, as both services were operated by artics at the time, I loved artics (still do!) and they were very rare for that area in that time period… early 90s 😅

Hm no I didn't know they had such a strange route before, my knowledge is really limited before 2010.

yep did board that old route 375 you've mentioned @David-cg7rq , route was withdrawn in 2015. Route went down Girrawheen Avenue instead of treen street but it was really an overlap between 64 (present day 371) 365 to Mirrabooka and also the longest way to Mirrabooka from Girrawheen Avenue. The old 375 route terminated in Kent Rd Marangaroo to service a retirement home nearby.

The current 375 is the first half of the old 372 route. That route was the 375 as far as marangaroo drive and then the 374 as far as Darch, it was very slow for the people at the end of the route taking this winding route.

Yes I'm posting in the wrong order really but the problem is some of the deviations I just filmed from on the bus when I was coincidently riding them but never made intro and outro so I still need to do that before I post them. That is for 160, 531, 30, maybe there's a few more.
And sometimes I make random cuts when I sneeze or cough so I don't just leave that stuff in the video...
