It’s ok on console imo, has gotten better with bug fixes and updates. It would be nice to have actual mods, although the mods on custom servers are decent if they get it right.
Just keeps getting better and better. Haven't been on ArmaR DayZ for months since i was on DeadZone and to see what PLXYABLE have now brought to the DayZ is amazing! Full working Trader and ATMs, modded Islands and militaries, secret bunkers and soon, they reckon Base Building will be working also. HUUGE!!
People need to remember that DayZ's base code still runs off the old ArmA 2 engine's. Only the renderer uses Enfusion, which is why ArmA Reforger does practically everything better than DayZ, because it's base code is the new Enfusion one.

17:20 Funny to see a barefoot warrior lying next to the thistle plant. If you don't know the history of the thistle on the Scottish flag, it's an interesting story. The humble plant saved the day against a sneak attack by barefoot Roman invaders.
I would love if they implemented a larger variety of animals in ARMA Reforger DayZ, even more than what they originally planned to do in the DayZ standalone. I'd find it very interesting if one could track other players hiding in the woods and forests not only by observing birds in flight, but also by observing roused deers and other similar animals. I'd also would like to see a deeper survival system with mechanics that provides with simple and advanced solutions for aiding the players, whether it's a lone survivor style camp hidden in the woods or a fully-fledged base with fortifications in the big city. There's a lot more that I'd like to see for the future in the DayZ franchise. Any thoughts anyone?

I know that this is gonna sound lackluster, but it makes me so incredibly happy as a console player to be able to play some version of a modded dayz server alongside pc players. The future is now boys.

Amazing! So stoked for a new engine. I got it way too early ahahah I ended up returning reforger temporarily, not that I don’t think it will be amazing but at the time it was really rough. Do you think they’ll still work on character animations? Running seems to stand out as something that could really be improved on
